It's a personal choice and cost is 12,500b A thread with point form of what docs you provided for your extension would have been more useful than the old "agent" chestnut.

OP, for approx 100 days you need to exit Thailand at some point . Thinking a multi entry tourist visa is over kill. A SETV would provide 60 days with the option of 30 day extension. For longer than 90 days you would need to do a border bounce for a visa empty entry 30 days. Where would you be located in Thailand?

You will be fine. My first 7 yrs in Thailand I was out/in Thailand every month. As a result never had made a 90 day report. The TM47 requirement at CW is new. In any event your pp stamps will show if you have missed a required report. Even then the io could do a 90 report and fine you 2k then proceed with the 12 month extension.

You would just provide most recent TM47. By way of example that could be years old.

Not sure I understand your question. If you are in Thailand continously for 90+ days you are required to do 90 day report. Every time you exit Thailand the clock stops and is reset when you reenter.

Very different. For extensions marriage you only require 400k in bank in your name only for 2 months prior to application. It's recommended to keep those funds in the account till the final stamp is in pp. Sometimes up to a month. After that you can withdraw money as you want.

If you have Thai family why are you using extension based on retirement. For extensions marriage the funds only nend to be in bank for 2 months prior to application and maintained during the under consideration period.

You won't be able to obtain next extension and you then would have 2 options. 1. Use an agent (ongoing) 2. Exit Thailand (border bounce) and on reenter visa exempt and obtain new non O at your immigration office. BTW for money in bank method it's 800k for two months prior to application + 3 months after application and not below 400k in remaining moths

With a Tourist Visa you would obtain 30 day extension at CW not IT mall Laksi

Just to clarify.... What is "valid until" date on your initial non O-A. Non O-A is multi entry visa.

Yes it's mandatory to print out the eVisa. As for TM30 : good chance it will be required at immigration for extension

Not in my experience. Have never provided TM30 for annual extensions at CW. Note that my last 2 extensions at CW the doc check chicks required TM47 which was not needed in previous years.

My understanding is that CM also require a TM30. Not the case?

The cost of extension is 1900b . Perhaps someone was charged (fine) 500b for not having a TM30.

This is off topic. Hopefully someone can assist.... So almost 3 weeks back I applied to renew my AU passport using mail option. Just now received this email that states.... "Your passport is on its way to your nominated address by a local postage service in your country or region if you need help you can contact your local embassy or consulate This email is generated automatically. Do not reply. Australian Passport Office" So my question..does that mean my new pp is in Thailand or Australia? Obviously trying to work out when it arrives my condo in Bangkok

OP, you need to outline your status in Thailand.....permission of stay wise. Available from immigration is a certificate of residence. Why does this need to be in English. Don't be vague . If it's legal matter just say so.
