  1. OP, you have correct answer above. Out of interest why are you doing back to back Non O marriage visa vs annual extension from the Non O permit stamp.
  2. As was advised. You can relax now. Excellent.
  3. So you have a Non O based on marriage and for from that 90 day stamp want to apply for 12 month extension based on retirement? No. Likewise a Non O based on retirement can not obtain 12 month extension based on marriage. If it had been a short period out of Thailand you could have obtained a 60 day extension "to visit wife" That would require reentry permit Post more detailed dates for better advice. When will you have a Thai bank account With a Non O (marriage) immigration (long shot) might allow first extension to be based on retirement as less work for immigration.
  4. That link does not work. It was to a thread that explains that appointments not possible at Jomtien
  5. You are correct. He needs 2 COR,s For COR the only eg where one original + photocopy is accepted is renewing or applying both car and bike licences at same time.
  6. h https://aseannow.com/topic/1376816-online-appointments-jomtien/?do=share
  7. This is link to online report. Source: Immigration Bureau https://share.google/GR4QuDxuxLhDMBuin Since you did a report in Nov open the link I posted. It will prompt you to change password. Not optional. You will instantly receive an email with a "HERE" hit that and will prompt you to enter new password then again a second time. If for any reason you get this attached screenshot then hit on "forgot password"
  8. Any reentry permit for under consideration period would expire on the return date for stamp. Meaning March 25 You will still be o/s. You will need to start over. Don't obtain reentry permit and when you exit Thailand your extension (approved) is done. You can obtain a new Non O marriage eVisa in home country Seems the 60 day extension to visit wife would not have been long enough. Messy to start over but doable Good luck
  9. You didn't read the thread title. It concerns reports made in 2026. End result is that we all need to update (change) existing password. Phones have a "remember password" function. No need to remember passwords
  10. It would be a pity if immigration offices required the (worthless) embassy income letter. As we know, some embassies are no longer providing the Letter. Also more countries are adding to that list. Fortunately at some offices it is sufficient to show 12 monthly international transfers. I do not have embassy letter (Oz) and CW accepted 12 month bank statement with 12 transfers for my extension retirement last Nov. Some mobs legal firms and agents etc post these sort of statements: "In the case of a monthly income of at least 65,000 THB, a letter from your embassy in Thailand verifying your monthly income. In cases where your embassy does not issue an income letter, you can provide a 12-month bank statement showing a regular deposit of 65,000 THB into a Thai bank account"
  11. When you open the online application you select "new, report", That opens an application with fields. Fill in yourself the first couple of fields... Name and the Passport # You then see the next field also has picture of magnifying🔎 glass. Hit on that and the fields will autofil
  12. What a mess. Some countries require you to send existing pp with application. Think USA and Canada two examples. I don't know why. Assume that you living in Thailand on ongoing annual extensions? Have you contacted embassy re options. By all means drop into immigration if possible however cannot imagine any success with that. Emergency pp (travel doc) from embassy? Passport country?
  13. Here is what I provided for 12 month extension based on over 50yr last November Note some of these items may not be required however all were taken. TM7 + photo. Current 90 Report receipt. TM30. 12 month lease. Map. Banking (income method) 1. Bank Letter 2. 12 month bank statement 3. Photocopies of bank book. Name page + previous 12 months transactions. 4. Update on day of application. I used small deposit. Note: 1 + 2 obtained days prior to application. Some points to note. If you grab the TM7 form from reception they also attach the various acknowledgment forms and you can fill in prior to doc check. Regarding transfers to be shown from abroad having the bank statement in Thai language shows (in Thai script) "transfers from abroad" For folk without printer at home etc.. I find it very useful to use the print stalls on Level 1. Just hand over pp and state "annual extension" They know what to photo copy. (2b per copy) The print joints are located just past food world Food court. The banks are on this level. You can do update there Note SCB and Kasikorn do not have branch at CW. Appointment: I was able to get extension appointment at 1pm + Reentry permit at 2.20pm. The reentry permit lady wanted a photocopy on the newly added extension stamp however she did it for me however made a point of it. I realize that report I made was income method however the banking docs would be the same for money in back method however for that method no requirement to show funds from abroad 1. Bank Letter 2. 12 month bank statement 3. Update day of application
  14. As usual offices vary. The "catch all phrase" word pension is often used. In reality it does not have to be a source from Pension The transfers can be from income. At CW the io did not ask for proof of income. Dont really see the point of an embassy letter if you are providing 12 month bank statement.
  15. Good plan. Just open the account (different bank) first. Then can close the BBL account.
  16. Find this very interesting. I also deal with CW. I did not provide embassy letter nor did I show where the funds came from. I simply had the 12 month bank statement showing the monthly transfers and shown as international transfers
  17. I didn't read the OP that way. Seems that for next year even if you have an embassy income letter you need in addition 12 month bank statement that shows the 12 monthly transfers. Many guys with embassy letter are not doing the monthly transfers. They may transfer larger amounts every few months as needed. Also the snow bunny group or folk (retirement extensions) not living full time in Thailand might fight this an issue. I'm confused as to why they would even bother obtaining embassy letter if they are required to prove monthly transfers. Edit: seems the OP in this attached current thread has similar experience at another immigration office.. https://aseannow.com/topic/1384726-visa-rules-getting-stricter-lease-bank-transfers-now-asked/
  18. You are asking about a DTV and would be excellent to cover the next 5 years. Once you turn 50 can obtain a Non O based on being over 50. That single entry visa provides a 90 day stamp (permit). That permit can be extended by 12 months each year. Edit: btw with DTV you do not have to exit every 180 days. You can do that or apply for 180 day extension at local immigration. Many find a trip outside of Thailand better option.
  19. I use income method and do not have embassy letter (Oz citizen) The transfers are made using WISE. I requested the 12 month bank statement to be in Thai language. The script in Thai on the transfers indicates "international transfer" I do mine on 14th of every month. Accepted on my most recent extension CW. As for immigration requiring this.. Seems almost expected as more embassies stop providing this letter. In most cases isn't worth the paper it's printed on. Start doing the transfers now as they will want to see 12.
  20. Sorry, misread your post. You can obtain the Non O (retirement) eVisa in UK then enter Thailand. You will be stamped in for 90 days. Transfer the 800k to your Thai Bank and after seasoned for two months apply for 12 month extension. Note: not required to show the 800k for extension was transferred from abroad. If you plan to travel abroad obtain a reentry permit. Multi or single.
  21. No such thing as a "Retirement Visa" The closest 1 yr visa based on retirement is a Non O-A. That visa is a multi entry visa based on retirement however has an insurance requirement. The other option is a single entry Non O based on either marriage or retirement. That provides a 90 day stamp and in the last 30 days you can obtain a 12 month extension. If the Non O you obtain in UK is based on retirement your first extension needs to be based on retirement. If the Non O is based on marriage then likewise first extension would be on marriage. You can change the basis of extension after that. Don't really understand OP post. Why would you obtain a Non O marriage then wish to obtain extension based on retirement. Do you have a Thai Bank account?
  22. You are making something out of nothing If you report late the fine is 2000b. As I mention the bloke charged 1000b was not given a receipt i.e graft.
  23. That has always been the case for extension marriage using money in bank. Two months seasoned prior to application and maintained until final stamp is entered. (under consideration period) In reality many/most immigration offices did not bother with the checking. Cannot recall a report of stamp not being issued due to use of the funds in that consideration period, however reports of folk being warned "don't do that next time" Keep the funds in the account. Not complicated
  24. Fine for filing 90 report late is 2000b If stop on another unrelated matter the fine can be 5000b. All explaied here https://www.thaiembassy.com/travel-to-thailand/guide-to-thai-immigration-90-day-reporting# The 1000b mentioned earlier was "discount" for immigration not to record it and provide receipt.
