  1. You don't need to fly out. Many would travel to friendship bridge and minivan to UT city or to airport if flying onward. Train is cheapest option. Popular with folk with little funds.
  2. CW process mail reports after due date. Your due date July 25 you would expect return approx Aug 10+. Why did you mention Laksi
  3. Interesting that an OP with zero posts starts a thread over 24 hours ago and that's same period has not visited AseanNow. Looks like ... Smells like...
  4. That was not the reason in my case. Certainly consolidated transactions can be an issue. I use dedicated bank account for immigration purposes. The immigration officer did not like the fact there were months with NO activity. Rubbish really as that has never previously been an issue for many years. Was posting for others that clearly with many recent (not just CW) that "Bank Statements" are the latest fashion statement with immigration. Kankers.
  5. Here is thread re extension retirement at Nonthaburi. Smooth process. Several others the same. https://aseannow.com/topic/1295019-nonthaburi-immigration-retirement-extension/
  6. CW is the outliner. Not aware of one other immigration office that has the TM47 report requirement to obtain certificate of residence.
  7. You can certainly obtain one in Pattaya. Check with Maneerat. Also previously I have asked "Tic Tok" visa services. From memory approx 4-4.5k. Not ideal very messy but all I can suggest.
  8. Even if you had a TM30 for place with Bangkok address that would still not be enough. CW also require you to have made a 90 day report (TM47) for the Bangkok address. You could ask an agent such as Thai Visa Center..
  9. Doesn't make any sense. If you are using money in bank method for retirement extensions then the io will want to see the previous 12 months. Some offices will accept copy of bank book pages. Some will require 12 months of bank statements.
  10. Issued on the spot. As mentioned available at airport. Simple process at airport. In list below disregard TM6 (unless you have one. At BKK they do they do the form etc 200b Passport and one copy of first page, visa page, lastest entry visa, and T.M.6. Application form T.M. 8. 1 photo (4x6 cm) Re-entry permit fee (1,000 THB for single entry/ 3,800 THB for multiple entries)
  11. OP is asking about 12 month extensions retirement. As for obtain a non O (retirement) Visa?... yes that is possible you can do a "conversion" from tourist visa or visa exempt using TM86 and TM87 respectively. You would require 15+ days remaining on your current permission of stay. Longer at some offices.. Current thread running on that process if required
  12. @Sheryl might have advice. Perhaps more advice in "health forum"
  13. I do however curious how incorrect your posts can be. Address the points I posted above as your information is incorrect.
  14. The thread is concerning extension based on marriage. Using money I bank method the financials are very clear. From your post seems you are referring to extension based on retirement. Again the requirements are very clear. Finally for extensions based on retirement the funds are not required to be shown from overseas. Strange Even if your extension is based on marriage the 400k is only required to be in bank for 2 months prior to application Then can be withdrawn.
  15. So extensions marriage same address and immigration have required three TM30. Which immigration office would that be as I have never read a similar post. It's best to post genuine information to assist others.
  16. Will do now re ignore. FYI : I have been in Thailand for some time (10 years+) on extensions from a non O retirement. I have NEVER done a TM30. I'm very aware of what TM30 requirements are. Read post from BritTim prior to your post. Did he mention TM30. No.
  17. I do not. That visa is so uncommon that I have read reports that immigration officers are confused at airports. Rare species.
  18. Go back and read my post SLOWLY. The TM30 has nothing to do with with the TM47 requirements. The OP was asking about 90 day report. TM30 is unrelated.
  19. Thinking that's on the money. Some things can be done in Thailand with an agent eg retirement extensions without the financials . And something's cannot. Thinking obtaining conversion to non O-X will be a NO
  20. So to assist others ....answer the question I asked. You received ONE home visit for your extension based on marriage?
  21. The TM30 has nothing to do with with op situation or TM47
  22. Please report back re converting to non O-X being a yes or no. I recall years ago to and fro with ubonjoe and some random poster that to be fair was very confident of a YES to obtain non O-X inside Thailand. Seemed to have facts to back up claim. Perhaps that (as usual) was office specific and perhaps a "fee". I've not been here in Thailand long time compared to many others. Never met one person on a non O-X. Seems to have very unattractive requirements. If you wish to look into LTV suggest a chat with @ThailandRyan would be useful. Helpful guy
  23. I find your posts very confusing. So to be clear. "Visa application" means that you are referring to application for a non O visa as distinct from extension from non O based on marriage. If you want correct replies. Explain exactly what you applied for. A non O based on marriage visa or extension. My guess is extension (and you misused term Visa) . So what actually occured and how many home visits have you had for this non O application or extension. My guess is ONE
  24. There is a LTV thread with 73 pages. Let's start few more.
