Regarding obtaining tourist visa over enter visa exempt is down to recent couple of posts of rogue offices not accepting conversion from visa exempt to non O using TM87. I mentioned this in previous post. @Red Phoenix has posted about that previosly Which immigration office will you be dealing with.

Understand now. You do not have good options with 4 years shy of 50. Just one person's advice. I would lean towards marriage. Realize that not preferring option. If that did occur your then wife could obtain a non O based on retirement and you could obtain a non O based on dependant spouse. Many threads on that. It's referred to as "piggyback" on her non O retirement. Someone will be posting for you to obtain a PE visa (elite visa) It's an option but expensive. You can buy a 5 year option which being 47yr is a good option. It's all about what you can afford.

When you apply for non O-A that visa has a validity of 12 months. This means that it's a poor plan to apply early. Yes every entry provides a 12 month permission of stay. However that is only for the validity of the visa. You may read that non O-A can provide almost 2 years of stay in Thailand. That is possible if the non O-A is issued shortly prior to first entry and you do a exit/reentry just prior to visa expiry. How long do you wish to stay in Thailand?

Not possible as you would require 12 month of 65k transfers per month. You could exit Thailand prior to October 8 reenter Thailand visa exempt (border bounce) and apply for a non O retirement. Even if you could place 800k in Thai bank account doubt if you could obtain extension based on retirement with your existing non O based on marriage as your first extension would need to be based on marriage. You would need 800k+ on the day you apply. That gives you another 90 day stamp and in last 30 days obtain 12 month extension. For next extension you could changed to based on marriage. Can't afford that ? Use an agent.

800k is only required in bank for two months prior to application for extension. What balance do you currently have? EDIT: Here is post I just did in another thread...... "800k+ for two months prior to application for annual extension and 800k for the three months after application and not below 400k in other months." BTW. If you have not followed the financial requirements you cannot just change what the extension is based on. You would have to exit Thailand and obtain new non O based on support Thai child. Many would suggest Savannakhet.

When you exit Thailand you due date for 90 day reports evaporated. Your next due date is 90 days from your entry date. If doing online reporting remember to change the "enter date". You can still use autofill and then just edit the entry date.

I will be very surprised if that works. The thing is at LakSi the doc check chick will want to see a TM30. Most common for a 30 day extension will be screenshot from hotel in Bangkok. My guess is that you be told to go away come back another day.
