As someone posted earlier .... You may require an onward flight within 30 days for the airline to issue boarding pass.
One option is to use companies such as "onward ticket.com"
Just have passport.
Of course bring you bank book just in case.
Some io want to see funds maintained during under consideration period.
SCB do not have branch at CW.
Most other banks do.
Myself and many others use money transfer companies.
This is covered in "banking finance" forum.
WISE is recommended.
Opening a bank in Thailand is not as simple as one would imagine.
Where will be based in Thailand
All nonsense.
You would not be stamped in for 7 days.
You are not deported.
You can be refused entry.
As pointed out already, you are kept in Detention holding rooms.
Pictures of that already posted
Perhaps this has already been mentioned.,.regarding initial steps.
The airline OR immigration press you to sign "form"
Vaguely recall that's like signing an agreement to depart and you pay for flight..
As usual you completely misread my posts.
I'm huge fan of Vietnam.
First 7 years in Thailand I went to Saigon every month.
Yesterday I applied for multi 3 month eVisa to Vietnam.
Unrelated advice to others ..the eVisa application is soooo simple.
I have read couple of posts from ubonjoe regarding this.
I have never read a post of someone doing that.
Naturally most of us mugs are not familiar with what ubonjoe outlined.
What's your point.
Vietnam suits some and not others..
Same as Philippines.
Same as Cambodia.
Some people love those joints some dislike.
So back to the OP ...the tax issue is nonsense.
One man's trash is another's treasure.
Find your post pretty ridiculous.
It didn't suit you ...fine.
Added note is that you worked there. Significant point.
Don't tell me you were teaching there.
Thanks for the info.
I'm so out of touch re ED visa so cannot post useful info.
I was under the impression that to obtain back to back the schools had to be certain category.
Thinking @BritTim is pretty across ED visa.
Just bumping your thread as no replies..
Good luck..
The OP should not apply for METV if not in the UK at time of application.
eVisa was poorly introduced.
In the old days you could obtain a triple entry visa from nearby consulates.
That was discontinued and METV introduced.
The requirement was had to been obtained in passport country or country where you had permanent resident status.
As usual ...many folk started looking for loop holes.
So that's all good.
You will have funds in bank almost 27days prior to expiry.
Most immigration offices require minimum 15 day remaining on permission of stay.
Assume that you are aware the funds only need to be in bank on day of application.
It's the 12 month extension that requires 2 months of seasoning funds
You can obtain a non O without leaving Thailand.
How many days remaining on permission of stay.
What is situation with Thai bank account in your name only.
