  1. Correct.. Clearly he didn't show much forward planning. 45 days visa exempt entry and now thinks about non O retirement.
  2. You would be applying for a non O visa based on retirement. For that visa you only require 800k in bank on the day you apply. That 90 day stamp gives you time to meet the requirements for 12 month extension. It's NOT a retirement visa (no such thing) You will not need 30 day extension. I assume you have a Thai bank account. If not use agent to open one and transfer 800k asap. Popular option for that is WISE (formally TransferWise)
  3. You do not need to do anything. TM30 in your situation is for change of address or when you return with new visa or visa exempt.
  4. Which immigration office. What type of visa and extension
  5. Yes. The screenshot provided by the hotel would need to be same province at immigration office. Does not need to be night prior. Prior to check in ask hotel if they are filing a TM30 and can provide screenshot.
  6. You stated... "I have been living in the same condo for almost 2 years, I did initial TM30 here, but I never knew I was supposed to re-do it after coming back from abroad" Did you enter on new visa or visa exempt then you need file a new TM30. If re-entering on same visa or a reentry permit then no TM30 would be required. By way of example...I'm typing this from Oz on a two week trip home. Back Bangkok in couple of days with reentry permit. Will I do a TM30? Absolutely not. Mainly as it is not required. As for 90 day report. I will do that online 75 days after date of entry to Thailand.
  7. Caught doing what? Travelling throughout Thailand as a tourist. Perhaps on a tourist visa. Please! Time for ignore. Do some research.
  8. Incorrect. Virtually a zillion tourists visit Thailand and none file a TM30. The copy of TM30 being filed by the hotel would be sufficient if attending immigration for example an extension. Read first post from ubonjoe.
  9. Don't even understand why you are doing TM30,s in person. Why are you doing TM30. That is for change of residence. Not for traveling inside Thailand or even from trip abroad unless you enter on new visa or visa exempt
  10. What part of my posts did you miss... Here is one..... "The OP may need a TM30 if attending immigration for various reasons such as extension" You give laugh emoji then post exactly what I posted. Amusing
  11. How do you do your reports. Online, post or in person. The request you have from immigration is absurd. However nothing with CM surprises me.
  12. No. What you may need is a TM30. You mention staying HH. If stay a night at a hotel check if they file a TM30 (they should) and ask for screenshot of the filing of the TM30. That should be enough to satisfy immigration.
  13. The OP mentioned "tourist" He may not have an existing address. As stated previously he would only required a TM30 if dealing with immigration
  14. The OP may need a TM30 if attending immigration for various reasons such as extension.
  15. OP, are you planning to obtain an extension to your visa waiver entry? If not then do nothing.
  16. It would not affect your extension. Yes the 90 day count starts from date of reentry to Thailand. At departure from Thailand passport control is not interested in your 90 report status.
  17. I didn't express it clearly. What I meant was, best to apply for extension AT LEAST couple of weeks early. Reason being if immigration pulls a stunt and wants bank statements etc.
