  1. Your plan works fine. First they will do the stamp and info transfer and then process your extension
  2. Very few (if any) reports of refused entry. However it's a matter of time. In 2019 (pre covid) there were several reports of refused entry via air visa exempt esp at Bangkok airports. Refused entry is significant. In almost all cases you are either flown back to airport of departure or to your pp country. Even this is not simple. For example if I flew from Saigon and was refused entry eg DMK it's not simple to be flown back to Vietnam. Being Oz I require a visa to enter Vietnam and currently they are only issuing e-Visa. World of pain. There are threads similar to yours every other day. This one stands out as you have spent basically zero time out of Thailand. You are playing Russian roulette. If you are determined to stay longer most likely a tourist visa from Vientiane would be best option. Appointment required. Stating this for others. For long stays such as your it's best to keep one land border visa exempt entry up your sleeve. In your case your most recent entry should have been with a SETV
  3. Another visa exempt via air would be a miracle.
  4. You won't be doing a visa exempt entry via land as you have used your 2 per calendar year. You should obtain a tourist visa. Vientiane and HCMC would be couple of options. Both consulates require an appointment. You did not indicate how much time you have spent OUTSIDE of Thailand since Dec last year.
  5. The OP posted ongoing ridiculous information from the start and his subsequent posts. Surprised this thread got any traction.
  6. Many poor irrelevant replies in this thread. Immigration can check to verify address at their discretion. Obviously this occurs in many offices for extensions based on marriage. Also for "conversion" to non O based on retirement from tourist visa or visa exempt stamp. Vaguely recall of Hua Hin immigration checking on (in particular) USA nationals several years ago Nothing significant about this thread.
  7. I seriously cannot understand your thread. Of course everyone gets friend request on Facebook. Generally from young Thai ladies. And you are surprised and post a "warning" Ridiculous.
  8. I also use a FD. The minimum deposit for my bank Kasikorn it 1000b. I make deposit on day on my extension at CW. Note: there have been many posts that this is not required for FD account for extension at CW.
  9. You have few options. Without outlining all... I think given your father's situation the use of an agent ongoing would be one consideration. He would no longer require funds in Thai bank. If much younger some would suggest that he can piggyback on your non O retirement. That's possible. Off topic: hats off to you taking good care.
  10. It's a well know fact the Extensions are only issued to date of pp expiry. That's obvious. Obtaining a pp renewal does not alter that date. When you transfer any stamps your permission of stay will not change. BTW: Visas are not transfered. The first page of your new pp will note non O visa information. For future extension applications a photocopy of that page will be required.
  11. You did not look at your stamp. The extension stamp is only ever issued to date of pp expiry. Poor planning.
  12. The appointment system runs perfect at CW. When you receive your confirmation email you need make hard copy and take it with you when you attend immigration. https://www.immigration.go.th/?page_id=20131
  13. How does that assist the OP. Nonsense. OP... What dealings with immigration office do you require. Annual extension?
  14. Best to obtain a screenshot of the TM30 from owner to have for document check.
  15. You can make appointment at LakSi. https://www.immigration.go.th/?page_id=20131 Currently next booking slots July 24. You will also require a TM30.
  16. I have zero idea of what your OP is about. Are you referring to issuing a non O VISA or perhaps issuing an annual extension. Are you asking about delays in the under consideration period for extension based on marriage?
  17. Don't understand your OP. When you exit Thailand your 90 Day clock is reset upon reentry date.
  18. That's such a nice reply. I can only understand one language so you way ahead of me. Not clear if you have been to Saigon previously. The agents (on every corner) can assist with tourist visa for Thailand. Hope all goes well for you. As pointed out in your thread.. You need appointment. Good luck
  19. Thanks for update. I thought it was Aug 23. In any event good news the 90 multi will be available. I assume it will be available on current e-Visa application.. Being Oz looking forward to that
  20. Lot of folk on a METV and ME non O attend immigration for a 30 day extension. If someone posts that they needed a new TM30 then fine.
  21. This post can be added to your OP and other posts ...,in that have not understood one. Agents in Saigon can guide you through the process.
  22. Happy to stand corrected. The fact is that with a multi reentry permit such as METV or ME Non O based on retirement or marriage etc the visa is valid and new TM30 not required. With a reentry permit you are still given "new permission of stay" stamp. Granted the expiry matches the reentry permit but that's not the point. Your reentry permit simply allows you to obtain new permission of stay stamp. My most recent o/s trips pic attached.
