  1. Bangkok Pattaya is about 3500 tbh for required RT-PCR, same day results.
  2. Sand on the road is a danger to motorbikes. Those who laugh at this don't ride motorbikes. On the small sois in my area extreme caution is needed on the curves to avoid sliding.
  3. Were the adults vaccinated? Perhaps the kid caught covid from grandmother. If vaccines don't work on adults then why think they work on kids. What happened to the child besides feeling under the weather? I'm the only old person in our household and I've been vaccinated. Why on earth would I think of submitting my kid to a newly developed vaccine?
  4. Yep, if she washes the car she's a keeper.
  5. How many 7 yr olds in Thailand have been seriously ill or died from Covid, bet you it's single digit number. Oh wait you probably want to vaccinate kids to protect others. Bad reason
  6. Just curious about yr, model of car and how long since last oil change. Was it years?
  7. I just flew in Nov 2021 visa exempt from USA and was asked at check in for flight out, had my $12.00 "Onward Flight" itinerary. But hey good for you for bypassing this.
  8. In all honesty do you expect anything in the form of compensation from these guys?
  9. OK everyone, I'll bet us with newer cars don't check oil often. To say it's the fault of service center is laughable. Come on people, you have to take responsibility. Pretty funny, just checked mine ahahaa
  10. Rowing is great exercise. Is the Concept 2 still a good machine? I see there's a SPORTathlon in Bangkok that has them for 58,000 tbh. Is that a legit price?
  11. Which window are you referring to. The rules may change but the agents will thrive forever. In my opinion one of the reasons IO's are dicks is to make using agents more desirable.
  12. The shopee brand probably would have served me just as well. I just like holding the purchase in my hands before I buy plus I'm tired of buying cheap and having it give me problems.
  13. Just got back from a tool store in Rayong I've been eyeballing but never entered until today. I was in tool heaven. USA made 1/2" socket and ratchet set was pricey at over 4K, didn't see the brand. Picked up a Stanley brand 23 piece 1/2" set for 2700 tbh. Pretty funny that Taiwan tools are several steps up from China tools.
  14. It would seem so but looking around found 3/8 " ratchets hard to find. 1/2 and 1/4 seem the norm.
  15. So, looking around for tools I see 3/8" sockets and ratchets aren't the norm. So, any info on stores specializing in tools in the Pattaya Area. I wouldn't mind paying more for a tool not made in China. Just looking for a socket set, wrenches and pliers. I'm more of a brick store fan than an online fan.
  16. If I was living solo in an urban setting such as Pattaya, owning a car might be more hassle than it's worth. Especially if you travel back to your home country periodically and don't have secure long term parking. Having a bad ass big bike and a scooter would suffice almost anywhere. Plenty of foreigners where I live that don't own cars, just MB's. They get by just fine.
  17. I used the same till I started brewing coffee.
  18. You're the one who seems to have a behavioral problem. Winding you up is just too easy.
  19. I got news for you, the world doesn't revolve around you impeding traffic on a bike. And by the way it was another poster who bragged about scaring bikers ????
