  1. Has he ever shown any compassion to the families of folks gunned down in his drugs war? NO! Has he ever shown any compassion to the folks who mistreated in his business dealings? NO! He broke the law, he broke serious laws, he deserves the appropriate punishment same as any other person.
  2. And I hope you DON'T GET YOUR WISH/HOPE!
  3. Did Wissanu actually say that? Is Wissanu an 'officer' authorised to make such calls/statements? Or just your wishful thinking?
  4. That's interesting, maybe their 'criteria' has changed but 27 years ago I asked the Immigration senior who conducted my interview if being married to a Thai lady made getting PR more easy? His response 'Not really because we assess you / are you the type of foreigner we want to have holding this status, and we don't assess your wife at all, so not really relevant. That's 27 years ago, maybe that's changed.
  5. If you have to ask that question you're not paying attention. There's a lot to learn!
  6. To the point where he would be welcomed as a free man? Really?
  7. "... At the most a day or two. No, the junta are allowing him back because they face a far greater threat, MF." He won't agree to go to jail for even 1 minute. "...the junta are allowing him back..." so where does that gem come from? Does the junta make such decisions?
  8. I suspect you need a hobby. If this is worrying you, go home. Many many folks with serious / very serious problems to deal with here. Your on the very botom of the list.
  9. "fatten their wallets" sure. But even more important is the grandeur, the high glorification of the military and it's magnificent history.
  10. Yep there's crimes and crimes and there's the example of the current scalypolitician who spent several years in Jail in Australia. When pratup was asked how come the guy can be in the Thai parliament, he has a jail record for drugs? Response from prayut "Yes, but it wasn't in Thailand so it's OK."
  11. It turned out he wasn't all that smart nor logical and easily swayed by relatives. The employer gve him a job as appreication for favors done by the boys father who was type of work the boy should be responsible for. But it came to a sticky end with lots of embarrassment all round.
  12. OK, so suggest you do some extensive research about all of the paymasters history. It ain't that pretty. But no hesitation to agree the current lot are way way less than satisfactory nor clean.
  13. The monthly rent on a a large premium property in Dubai and staff and cars etc., etc., and buying using a private jet, plus vote buying adds up.
  14. Good points. Further, the paymaster or his fanily etc., have not mentioned one word about: The events immediately he puts a foot on Thai soil. Exactly how he will achieve 'freedom' status. Strange...
  15. I don't disagree. In the past I have had incidents where fairly new staff wanted to move furniture, for no reason of any value. And incidents of fairly new staff appraoching other staff to swap jobs (with no discussion, request for permission from their supervisor etc.)
  16. In many bars what's on offer is right in front of you. Specific drinks are not important.
  17. And somewhere is any discussion on this is the fact that other 'religions' exist, with enormous numbers of followers, which also believe in a god, a different god.
  18. But remember there's another man more powerful than the paymaster.
  19. Difficult to believe he would leave his life of luxury and return to live in a Thai jail for 12 years. Sure he misses Thai food etc., but why would he give up his life of luxury? Wants to be with / play with his grandchildren. He can't do that if he's in jail. And they will all be late teenagers or older when he gets out, and there's cases not yet heard so the length of time he's locked up locked up could be even longer. Why would he give up his life of luxury and his family regularly visiting his abroad? Or is he broke, can't afford the rent in Dubai any more? Or is he under pressure from the Dubai leaders to move out? Strange...
  20. Sure, heard many stories over many years. An old buddy shared (some years back) he sent one of his new high performance staff (21 yo) to help with a project in China for 4 weeks. New guy had never before stayed outside of his family house in Sydney / never been abroad and never stayed in any hotel anywhere. The consultant had only worked for him for 3 days, so his work performance nor behaviorys and attitudes not yet known, so quite risky to send him abroad so quickly. Hotel in Shanghai called his company in sydney to inform them there would be a big bill for damage to the room (5 star hotel) which they required to be settled immediately and they had in fact successfuly charged the fully amount to his credit card. Turned out the new boy decided he didn't like the placing or style of the furniture, so he rearranged the furniture, ripped legs off one table, threw sheets, quilts, pillows, cups, kettle etc., into the laundry / rubbish chute. Then had requested new furniture etc., that he liked. He was replaced quickly and sacked as soon as back in Sydney. His response "But my dad told me it's my right to make myself comfortable."
  21. Yep, sad but true. Relative had a similar situation, they found the location of the girl (26 yo - never paid anything to use the room), they insisted she come to the room and they confronted her. They asked her "Why didn't you do any clean up?" And the smell was aparently horrific. Her response 'You're not fair, I'm busy, I don't have time for cleaning, I want to spend time with my friends".
  22. I don't disagree with most of your your comments. Except your comment "I know the rules and that they are changing senators. Why do you think you are the only one with that knowledge?" Your words are just rude. I didn't in any way suggest that I was/am the onlyt person with the knowledge about changing the senators. In facts I only learned yesterday about the different (and welcome) method/law to replace the senate. And I wanted to share that detail quickly because I was thinking it was not widely known. Slow down...
  23. As I thought, could be one or several of the the above items, possibly/probably at many 'Wellness' venues there's no qualifications, and the the products used not licensed / poor quality, and unknown names. Wellness not on my bucket list.
  24. Family... But my question si 'what does WELLNESS mean?' Is it something specific?
