  1. I only use the BBL version, but I've certainly seen other banks mentioned on here that offer it.
  2. Several reports of this recently but it seems quite random.
  3. Open the app on your phone, select "Cardless ATM" and login. Choose a pre-selected amount to withdraw or enter a custom amount. You then have an hour to find a BBL ATM. At the ATM select "Cardless Withdrawal" then Bangkok Bank. It'll dislay a QR code and the app will prompt you to scan this code. Your cash will then be dispensed. Choose an indoor ATM if possible as the sun on the screen can make reading the QR code difficult.
  4. Sounds like you're in the right place. It'll give you Wise account details for a GBP account on your profile. If it's the first time creating one it'll probably ask for a sample deposit and identity check.
  5. I've made several claims over the years but only one with Qatar and it was settled with the 600 Euro equivalent compensation with no issues. Different experience altogether.
  6. Please use your computer to the best of its abilities. Google found this: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/TTBOMK
  7. I was merely explaining the calculation, not commenting on the population of the survey. The newspaper headline mentions the Bangkok population (although not as the source of the data) but the previous surveys make no such distinction so your "Bwahahahahahahahaha" may be misplaced. Similarly, your extrapolation of your industrial estate to the whole of Thailand is just as likely to give biased results due to the limited demographic of the population.
  8. 1% margin of error means that if the survey says 40% are overweight then you can be 99% sure (in the example given) that the results over the full population would be between 39% and 41%.
  9. Emirates Skywaards Miles can also be used on several partner airlines if that's an option for you. I flew BKK-USM and back using them a few weeks ago.
  10. He could get it overseas (it's easy to get out unnoticed) so the entry stamp point is moot, but he would almost certainly not get back in, even with a new passport.
  11. A lot more information is needed before you'll get any informed replies. Origin of flight to Dubai being key as that will dictate any legal requirements. Also flight timing of the first flight, were they given boarding passes for both flights at the first check-in, was it on time, booked directly with the airline or through an agent etc.
  12. Fixed it for you, even if it's obviously a joke given the drivel most of the nominees post.
  13. The padlock in front of the thread title already indicates this for me. Example on the current forum support first page:
  14. And have the option to disable the card in the app should we fear cloning or other fraud might be attempted.
  15. Technophobe. Are you sure? https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/technophobe
  16. Emirates website explains the action required, timesale and cost. https://www.emirates.com/th/english/help/faq-topics/booking-with-emirates/faq/can-i-change-passenger-name-on-an-emirates-ticket/ Call them again or use the online chat.
  17. Dee Money are a transfer partner for Wise. If you look at your transaction PDFs you will see which transfer partner they have used, either Dee Money, BBL or Kasikorn. TMB used to be one too, but I don't think they use them any more.
  18. What's your backup for when there is a problem? It's bound to happen.
  19. Which is true. They can't stamp everyone as the plane pushes back so do it in the hours before as people pass through the airport. They're stil in Thailand though so it makes sense from that point of view.
  20. Yes, most (all?) ATMs offer to do the conversion to the card currency at a poor exchange rate. Just refuse the offer and it'll revert to the Visa/Mastercard rate. Google Dynamic Currency Conversion for more info.
