UK credit card with no foreign currency charges are not prevalent but easily obtainable. Interest is mainly avoidable and as long as you don't overdo it (or have other credit issues) will not overly affect your credit rating. Used in a bank for a cash advance (and paid off immediately) they can be one of the cheapest ways to get cash when overseas.

Take your on-line booking information to the desk selling tickets and they'll exchange it for your actual ticket which will have a seat number on it.

I agree, running them at an acceptable profit level could be a problem however. I guess that's all there is. The number came from a news article on the change.

Yes that's what I posted, although I couldn't remember if it was FD or HSBC where I experienced it. Nationwide's devices (and it would appear from the OP also Barclays) are interchangeable between customers.
-
Some banks use unique versions, others a common platform. A couple I have used are Nationwide which is a common one and either HSBC or First Direct (can't quite remember) which was unique.

Not for me - just giving some of the background to the changes. Could be an issue for Central Group who have ~ 200 new shops to run.
-
Not a 711 deal, but Family Mart's franchise agreement with Central Group ended a couple of months ago and they never renewed it. Central's take over results in the Top's branding.

Most peaceful towns in Northern Thailand

Questioning your seemingly erroneous comment about the airports connectivity. -
Emirates, who the OP hopes to fly with, operate out of Terminal 3 only. The underground train you refer to is probably the one connecting Concourses A and B which are part of Terminal 3, along with Concourse C, which is walkable from Concourse B. Departures and arrivals can be from any of the 3 Concourses.

Overseas when non-O to be renewed
treetops replied to OzMan's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Maneerat at the same cost as a "regular" extension. I never had it done, but it was offered when we discussed it. My renewal falls at a time of year I usually travel so I have to juggle things a bit to keep things right. Maneerat offered this proactively as if was an everyday occurrence for them. -
Overseas when non-O to be renewed

Usually ~ 24 hours after dropping it off. An agent offered the service to me but that doesn't preclude it being offered direct from immigration. OP can always ask. -

I have been offered 90 at my last two renewals (via agent). -

Dependant on where you're based you may be able to do it up to 90 days early, so January/February befoe you travel might be possible. Jomtien is one office said to be willing to do it this early. -

OP could also try forgetting the network from the wifi settings pages similar to above. Re-connecting from scratch may straighten out whatever is causing the glitch.

It shoud have brought you to a login page where you are required to enter the username and password from the sticker (admin and 1C45). There might be a capcha required too. Entering those gets you into the router setup pages. You can ignore most of these but look for Wifi, then maybe advanced and you should see a field for the wifi password (there may be 2 sets of data, one each for 2.4 and 5 Ghz operation. Updating the password would be done here. You say you don't want to do this, but if you or your other family members cannot remember the current password you may have no choice.
