  1. Protective coating on the circuit board that has degraded with time and heat, although it shouldn't end up in that mess.
  2. All bars are for sale if the price is right.
  3. I've got a lot of metal in my leg and since getting it have very seldom set off the detectors. I believe it's down to titanium not being magnetic, which would also acount for the stainless steel comment above. I asked my doctor at the time if there was something he could give me to ease the way at security but his response was no, you just have to let them do their job.
  4. It's not an app. It's their web interface. The "i" in ibanking is for internet, or web based. The "m" in mbanking is for mobile, or app based.
  5. My post was certainly accurate in saying he posts drivel, if not helpful to all (but perhaps to some). Within the rules (and spirit) for sure.
  6. OP said in a previous post but did not mention when.
  7. The AN Forum Rules say "Please post accurate and helpful information". Your drivel isn't really in the spirit of the rules but you're allowed to carry on posting.
  8. Send it via Wise early enough in the month that if it doesn't get coded correctly you have time to use a Swift transfer as a fall back. Win-win.
  9. Except your OP indicates the controller gives out 24V AC to switch the pump. That relay requires a DC input.
  10. Try making a (small) deposit into it and see what happens.
  11. Vic's Place on Soi 21 between Buakhao and 3rd Road used to.
  12. If you don't have the ability to use any of the above methods, make a regular cost call to +44 1224 390800. It'll ask you for the 0800 number and re-direct the call there.
  13. I've read of this before so sounds like this is the common way, but you're issue is nothing to do with SCB ending internet banking which is what this thread is about so you might be better asking it elsewhere.
  14. Not sure about Turkish, but some airlines give discounts for the elderly. Here's what you see from Thai Smile. I don't know if it still works, but to get a real person on the Live Chat rather than the bot type "Change email" and wait for several auto responses to scroll out of the way. Eventually you will see a "Talk to Allstar" button. Click on it, enter the details requested and you'll get a person responding.
  15. Visitors from the USA who plan to exchange dollars here. Go with the XE exchange rate and you'll both win a little bit by avoiding the spread that exchanges apply.
  16. The reply from KhunBENQ above regarding region settings changes a google search result from to which appears to be what you are after. You can access it from the URL given https://www.google.com/preferences or from by selecting Settings followed by Search Settings and scrolling down to Region Settings and selecting USA, UK or whatever.
  17. I registered a dtac SIM on their app using my UK passport earlier this week. A bit unusual getting the passport number recognised but working OK now.
  18. I don't stream very much and ordinary (UK) TV is coming through OK. Just downloaded some updates on my phone over the SIM router and speed was showing as over 8.5 in spells.
  19. It was delivered to me but required verification photo of her ID card and selfie using the app on a phone with the SIM installed. She wasn't here to do that. I got a 12 month DTAC package.
  20. Speed test on my (AIS) smartphone gives around the same speeds. The GoMo was bought using a ladyfriend's ID and she went off to visit her mum in Bangkok and hasn't come back. As I was time constrained (needed something in place for an imminent change of condo) I had to bite the bullet and go for a Plan B. The router interface opening page shows various statistics including recent speed achieved and it does get up to over 6 Mbps. TV is streaming fine and my browsing seems no different from my previous setup so all in all I've got pretty much what I wanted even if not by the most optimal method. Thanks all for the help.
  21. OK, I've just set up me new SIM router with a DTAC annual SIM described as 15Mbps. The GoMo one didn't pan out. It's successfully connected to my phone, laptop and TV stick. All seems good and running normally. However, when I run testmy.net it gives results around 4Mbps download. This is from my laptop and is not much different using a LAN cable or using wifi. Phone is similar speed on wifi. DTAC signal is strong according to the router status screen. I understand the location of the router can be important so will try it in a couple of different places, but apart from that should I be getting a higher speed and how do I go about it?
