Foreign man assaults Pattaya transwoman over noise dispute

He really let her have it. That was definitely an assault. Didn't take much courage she being about 35 kilos. Overreaction, not called for. -
Mike Waltz Warns Hostage-Takers: “Bullet in Your Damn Forehead”
cdemundo replied to Social Media's topic in World News
"maybe even a bullet in your damn forehead” Maybe. Does he think nobody ever thought of that before? It would be great if it was that simple. -
If I am looking to name the. smartest members I look to the names in "RECENTLY BROWSING" who I never see posts from. Unlike me, they don't get pulled in to crazy discussions, just enjoy reading them.

Assuming this is a sarcastic award gotta go with Gamma, always multiple pointless threads going from him.

Some of the stereotypes are based on experience. I have witnessed pushy, rude Russians. My friend says it's from decades of pushing to the front of the bread line. I am talking about literally pushing others in public, from both male and female Russians. Indians have different standards of personal hygiene. Thais say they smell bad. I had a University educated Indian boss in the US who definitely had a different level of olfactory hygiene than what is considered normal in the US. So this is not necessarily low class Indians, who probably couldn't afford travel in any event. So some Indians definitely are less concerned about body odor. If I am in a tourist area I am very reluctant to talk to other Westerners, male or female. I live in a suburb with essentially no tourist attractions so I am less on my guard here although I don't initiate conversations. Single Western males are often scammers, weirdos, or tedious blowhards. (Honestly, I wasn't thinking of this forum). About Thais "They also don't share the same curiosity to learn about other people and their cultures the same way that locals might take more of an interest in those things when one travels to other countries." I don't find this to be true. My neighbors ask me questions about my home country, so does the cleaner at my condo, same thing with taxi drivers.

OK, you are really fantasizing. You usually need to have an advanced degree to teach at uni. I'm guessing you don't have a BA or BS since you haven't stated.

That is fascinating. Always love to hear the phony pontificating of a pathetic wannabe intellectual. However, the point under discussion is what schools require of teachers. Their definition is the one that is pertinent, not yours.

COVID Vaccines Could INTEGRATE with Human DNA: Yale Research
cdemundo replied to Red Phoenix's topic in Covid/Vaccine
"YouTube would censor that video in a minute." Exactly. The Herman Cain Awards thread was not an edited, secondary source video. It presented the Facebook posts of virulent anti-vaxxers and then the posts after they became ill and need to be treated for COVID. It was primary source material from the individuals and their families. It was not to make fun of the unvaccinated, it was to show the disconnect between the beliefs of virulent anti-vaxers and the results of their refusing vaccination. It was the only place I ever found where the horrors of an end stage case of COVID were shown The MSM did not have the intestinal fortitude to show the end stage of COVID which is most decidedly not a bad case of the flu. -

Yeah, real convincing. Too low class for YouTube apparently so it's on Bitchute? A bunch of clips with a heavy metal(?) sound track? Not remotely a source of information. If you have put this forward as an argument for anything I gotta consider that when I evaluate else anything you might say. -
Do you have a college degree? A BS or BA not a certificate from Auto Body Repair School> Are you a native English speaker? That means UK, US, Australia, NZ, Canada. Some schools will take other nations if you have a high enough score on the TOEFL. How old are you? Over 60 makes it very difficult, schools are reluctant. There is some flexibility with some schools, but if you miss on all 3 it's gonna be tough. As to the Phillipines, they teach a version of English starting at first year of public school so they consider their homegrown teachers to be qualified and don't seek native speakers. If you are serious you could start looking at the "teachers wanted' ads on a website with the word "ajarn" in its name. You will see what schools are asking for.

"unleash the DOGE phenomenon." It's not a new idea. Been promised and tried before, easy to promise, hard to do. Whose ox is gonna be gored (for the sacrifice)? I believe is the saying that applies. Every nickel of Federal spending benefits somebody and they are gonna be talking to their elected officials to preserve the programs they benefit from. It's a good idea, more power to them if they can do something.

A lot depends on where you were during the height of the pandemic. I found the most compelling information (primary sources) came from the Reddit Hermann Cain Awards discussion. -

Pentagon spending possibly has the most waste and is the least monitored. If it could be reined in a lot of money could be saved. Is foreign aid "low hanging fruit"? Not so sure about that. "Myth #3: U.S. foreign aid is mainly backed by Democrats Foreign aid historically has been viewed more as a Democratic than Republican program. The Marshall Plan was initiated by the Truman administration, and in the 1990s, when votes in the Congress on foreign aid spending were close, the appropriations bill garnered more Democratic than Republican votes. But every president, Democratic and Republican, until the current occupant of the White House, has been a strong proponent of foreign assistance. In fact, some of the most rapid increases in foreign aid have come during Republican presidencies—the first term of Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush. Since the creation in the early 2000s of President Bush’s signature popular and successful programs of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), and the President’s Malaria Program (PMI), foreign aid now also carries a Republican brand and has received overwhelming congressional support from both parties, including bipartisan rejection of the one-third cuts to international spending proposed by the Trump administration." https://www.brookings.edu/articles/what-every-american-should-know-about-u-s-foreign-aid/

"Why can't they give some aid, or additional aid to the hurricane victims sleeping in tents in NC?" Yes, there are always allocation questions. Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to consider that when reallocating, one doesn't necessarily look at a spending category that makes up 1% of the budget.

About foreign aid "Myth #1: America spends too much on foreign aid Opinion polls consistently report that Americans believe foreign aid is in the range of 25 percent of the federal budget. When asked how much it should be, they say about 10 percent. In fact, at $39.2 billion for fiscal year 2019, foreign assistance is less than 1 percent of the federal budget. Myth #2: Others don’t do their fair share The U.S. provides more assistance than any other country. As the world’s wealthiest nation, that’s appropriate. There is a broad international commitment that wealthy countries should provide annually 0.7 percent of GNP to assist poor countries. Five countries (Norway, Sweden, Luxembourg, Denmark, and the U.K.) exceed that benchmark. The average for all wealthy nations is around 0.4 percent. The U.S. ranks near the bottom at below 0.2 percent." https://www.brookings.edu/articles/what-every-american-should-know-about-u-s-foreign-aid/

Why do non-religious westerners celebrate Xmas? Are you telling me that all those folks believe that a virgin had a baby? The whole story doesn't ring true, I can't believe that grown people would try and go to Bethlehem in December without a hotel reservation. But I love Christmas. Santa etc. not the religious part. I don't even get a tree for many years but I love giving presents, not out of obligation, cuz I want to. I also like Christmas music, the other day I was outside Starbucks and they played "Gee Whiz It's Christmas" which is a goofy song but I really like it. I like The Pretenders version of "Have yourself a merry little Christmas" and "Merry Christmas Baby" by Otis Redding. I like Christmas movies, "Jingle all the way", the Griswold's Christmas movie, "Diehard" LOL. I think Xmas is a blast. It's about giving as well as getting, it's about generosity. Remember you give gifts as well as receive them and for some human types giving gifts is fun as well. Of course the commercial side promotes it massively, doesn't spoil it for me. If Thais want to join in the fun that's great too, why would it bother me? Haha, as they say, don't get me started, but I like Christmas and as far as being religious, I went to 12 years of Catholic school so I figure I get "time off for time served" and I'm not religious at all and I like Christmas.
