Indeed you are likely right and that is always an issue - and even more so under current economic conditions - burn is the cheap solution so without law enforcement or incentives even those knowing better are unlikely to be able to limit and everyone suffers. And as the recent typhoon in PI attests it is likely a worldwide issue.

Perhaps more homeless these days trying to keep warm at night?

About 2 or 3 weeks after due date so about 5 weeks total. So receiving later than previously but at least do not lose a week or two as was the case in the past when they processed early. So appears there long wait for mailing - or they actually did not process on date indicated but as received prior to due date print that date on receipt.

Cost of 14 days in the hospital if I test positive on arrival?
lopburi3 replied to mitebbots's topic in Health and Medicine
What I, and others have said, - you can be forced into approved isolation - and you have to pay for that. What type/cost/where varies faster than moon phases but it is something to be aware of. -
You might use Google Maps Khon Kaen and search Hi Fi.

Thai insurance? There are indeed problems. They have not been paying in a timely manner from press reports. -

Another factor to consider is you do not have to test positive to be required to quarantine - being near anyone positive can trigger that - so you may want to look closely at hotel refund requirements as do not believe any insurance payments for that kind of a change. Those that promote travel should be taking pains to shed light on such issues - but that does not seem to be the case. But the old axiom of too many cooks comes to mind. -
Believe they removed that option now that Chinese owned. But even when available, as in Shopee, they get you with "pre-order" which in effect means overseas but is displayed as domestic.

Did you get hungry and eat their cookies by chance? For me it is the slide to right because of suspicious activity if I check more than one page.

Bank apps not working on older Android phones and tablets
lopburi3 replied to DannyS1951's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
That is what Play Store download says but Bangkok Bank web site says version 7 or above and indicates it is a new version. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bbl.mobilebanking -

Believe Bangkok Bank app states that only can be used on Android 7 or above. -
But they do allow direct debit from Bangkok Bank accounts which works fine - and refunds are directly returned to said accounts.

If you use browser translate to English on first page display it is much better and seems to hold it quite well. I use Chrome but believe other browsers also have translate options. Have used that method since before Shopee even had an English option.

Yes indeed - often happens to me also - no rhyme or reason that I can find. But another reason to use Google to search when you have specific items of interest.

Hoarders of gasoline and food in typhoon-hit areas warned
lopburi3 replied to ASEAN NOW News's topic in Philippines News
On Cebu the filling stations that remain open have long lines and limit sales to P100 for motorcycle and P300 for cars from reports today on YouTube. Extreme shortage as roads start to open for travel and people need to do so to find water and food. Electric totally out from reports and may be weeks to restore and generator fuel needed for those that have. Have not seen any reports from Bihol but expect they are in same shape. -
Is that a local credit card? Have not had any issues using my US Chase Visa card - but have my Thai address as residence with Chase.

Shopee has the same multi named sellers in my experience.

Actually they change names from "abdc23nb" to "badc32bn". Find both systems full of same overpriced products from sellers that have never made a sale - just hoping for a fish to bite. Some help if you find a specific name/model and then search just that and sort low price to high. Also check how many sales seller has made as often they are selling at a fair price and that is why they have many sales.
