  1. It's not my money, simply because it goes to my bank account first. It's 'our' money. Same as 'our' house, land lots, car, MB, pedal bikes or anything else 'we' own. 'Our' contributions to 'us' is more than financial. On that note, my wife contributes far more than myself. Only thing that is truly mine, if I left, is the dog, and that's non-negotiable ... And probably the car, since I would need, and she wouldn't. Although I'd have to take her phone, as most of the charging station apps are on hers. Unless I just use MG or Elexa chargers. Anything else, I don't need or would want, if I left. So that's simple. People that think 'mine' and 'yours', aren't truly in a loving relationship ... IMHO. Just an equitable 'financial' arrangement. Which is fine, as different strokes for different folks.
  2. I get treated quite well, same as the locals. Don't live in tourist areas, where foreign idiots do wear down the patience of customer service employees. Don't expect the red carpet, just decent service, or I won't be back. Most vendors realize that, that I frequent. Even when O&A like now, I don't experience any negativity. I receive what I project, all smiles & good will.
  3. Hindsight, since enlightened now, though not much more than when a teen, and not sure if there ever was a 'news source' in the USA. Just a propaganda machine, for those ignorant enough to believe the BS put out every evening in the days past. Simple things like reporting the Nam war, and JFK assassination should have woke up the most ignorant folk. If 9/11 & covid didn't wake up the rest of the idiots, then they will always believe what they are told.
  4. I'm not an immigrant in TH, just a visitor, on long holiday Since extending my holiday with " Non-Immigrant O visa " every year.
  5. 3 months later, and sadly, only 66% of members aren't that ignorant to think any president would invoke martial law.
  6. Plenty of 2-3-4-5+ generation of immigrants born in the UK, so yea, they're Brits. The bigotry here is amazing, for the 21st Century. Break out the hoods
  7. Maybe for those folks 'feeling a bit blue today' ? Ms Google has a few thoughts ...
  8. You're android phone updates OS itself. You get 2-4 yrs of updates. Then it stops. Above just shows you have an old phone. Mine has updated 2X, with no advance notice, I don't think or simply didn't notice. Think I get 2 more, maybe.
  9. How'd you know. Back yard has the pool and limestone wall. Damn expensive to have installed. From OP: " Your view from your balcony home, hotel, beach, travelling, just any nice view will do, and any weather as well "
  10. Hat Noparat Thara park1.mp4
  11. Not buying it ... you update. Unless all you electronics, phone, laptop, computer, TV ... all, are still using original software, which still track you anyway. I got stuff that updated, and I don't even know it, till it's done. Always get 'what's new with google, chrome or window' every now and then. Androids updates by itself. My car (MG EV) actually tells me it's available, and doesn't self update. Only one OTA, and I haven't bothered to update, as I don't use it, Google Play. FFS, you're on the internet. Anyone who wants to, knows everything about you.
  12. Same with Burger King & KFC. Something else I find strange, locals do a better job at western food also, than the expat managed restaurants, especially if the expat is cooking. Italian & Brit food anyway, as don't do much of anything else, and actually rare to have Brit food, but couple places in Udon Thani were good.
  13. Had a decent burger and a really good Hoagie/deli sandwich 👍👍 Used to go to Ban Krut quite a bit, and that was a regular stop for us.
  14. Just shows I have no friends 😭
  15. I think I have had two in 25 years, only because they came with the hotel room. At home, I rarely eat a full Yank brekkie as never that hungry in the morning.
  16. @henrik2000 Gmap still has Kasama, Ban Krut, permanently closed, as was last time there. Nice snaps 👍
  17. Unless you need the extra room, think I would spring for the extra 100k and get the MG4, with the lifetime battery warranty. If going the sedan route. I need a SUV. or we would have got the EP in 2022, as only 2 real options, since Atto 3 was just hitting the market, and BYD not established in TH yet. EP & ZS are getting phased out, replaced by ES & S5. ZS also on a 699k promo, from 829k.
  18. Specs for mine are fairly accurate, though top end & range won't impress anyone. 3000w motor, spec'd at 90 kph, and I've had it up to 87 with a bit more throttle left. Range is strange, as advert stated 140-150 kms User manual stated something like 75-90 kms, and much more accurate. Not with load max'd out or cruising >50 kph. Range is it's negative, and shows it's limitations. Usually just the dog & myself, to the local park and or surfside. I go a bit further at times, but 1 hr on a scooter is more than enough for me. DECO does offer dual battery scooter, and of course, you could buy extras. There was one scooter I saw & researched, and that was good for cruising, and proper charging at charging stations. Even had a trailer on the one I saw. I posted about and will see if I can find. I love it for around town, and me & wife have gone out for the day on it. My usual (me & dog) is 10-15 kms a day, if ride everyday, that might take it down to 25% and charge once a every 5-6-7 days. Never really paid attention. When it starts flickering 3 to 2 bars (6 total, I think), then I charge it. Takes ~2 hrs to charge. Dog an myself is ~90 kgs, and drive ~50 kph, as don't want to dry her eyes out, and is just local driving.
  19. DECO Family 3 is street legal and can register. Although, order quick, as I believe it's been discontinued. Better option, just get one of their 1000w or 2000w scooter and have a side cart mounted. All DECE products are street legal, and can register. Also are LFP battery chemistry. Start less than 30k baht and way better than any other crap offered that you can't register.
  20. Last one I sent back was mid July last year. So if don't receive by August, then I'll snail mail a couple over.
