OP ... to even ask yourself that, indicates you're leaning that way, bisexual. One way to verify to yourself ... take a walk on the wild side.

Report Ho Chi Minh City Tops Singapore in Global Living Appeal
KhunLA replied to snoop1130's topic in Vietnam News
Obviously didn't survey local Thais, outside of Bangkok. Just another silly poll with silly results, targeting a specific demographics. "33,000 individuals from 65 cities worldwide" = ~500 people per city Considering the cities they chose for the survey, results aren't too surprising: https://www.gensler.com/gri/city-pulse-2025 N. America only hold 7.5% of world population (wiki) but dominated the survey, with 29 of the cities surveyed (mostly USA), 2 Canadian cities S. America, all of 1 cities. I didn't know Mexico was in S. America 😎 Asia holding more than half the worlds population, and only 19 cities surveyed. Africa, with 17% of world population, surveyed 3 cities -
This works very well, and sold @ 7-11, all of 29 baht 'SWIFF' mentioned earlier works, and what one doc prescribed to me before colonoscopy. Though may be a little too intense. Both require you to be near a toilet. SWIFF kicks in fast. NUUi slow acting overnight, then you'll need to be near toilet about 6 hours after waking. PLAN ACCORDINGLY, as it will come in waves. I recently discovered dried apricots also work quite well. Along with 400mg of Magnesium Citrate, split between 3 doses a day (133mg each). Before I stated no laxative effect, but was not taking enough. Oops. May want to simply introduce more water and dietary fiber into your daily diet.

Here's one located closer to Ubon area, and use to make monthly visits to Udon Thani for the folks there, and is pretty good. Might want to call, and ask if he does the same for KK area, or if still doing for UT. https://www.google.com/maps/place/ศรีสัตตยาคลินิค+(หมอเด่น+ปรับสมดุลย์)/@15.2835159,104.8946459,15.6z/data=!4m6!3m5!1s0x31167d0cbb31e667:0xcb0181c4054136ef!8m2!3d15.2837645!4d104.8984391!16s%2Fg%2F11hdj99pcs?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDYyMi4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D

I posted that, the savings more than a few times, and quite easy to figure out. Especially since we owned both versions of our present car, MG ZS. Petrol version got 14 kpL (using 91), so simply compare that to a full charge on our BEV version. Highway at speed limit of 90 kph +/- and we're good for ~340 kms on full charge. Local mixed driving, 30-60-90 kph, and we're good for ~360 kms on full charge. Strangely, the WLTP rating is 320 kms range (NEDC 403 🙄) 46.3kWh usable of 50.3kWh battery, @ ฿5 per kWh at home charging equals: BEV - 340 kms cost ฿232 (46.3 x ฿5) ICEV - 340 ÷ 14 = 28.28 L X ฿33.28 = ฿941 941 ÷ 232 = 4X more expensive to drive a petrol MG ZS https://www.bangchak.co.th/en/oilprice

OP can't seem to find ground coffee than he/she likes, so buying the beans of the same won't help. Could buy green beans & roast them to his/her preferred darkness. We tried that, and we're too impatient and can't be bothered. Since he/she buying ground coffee, speaks volumes of not caring even if his/her coffee is fresh ground. A bit telling in itself

They actually make 'hot' & not hot food bags. But cost fractional more, so many vendors don't buy. I don't buy food that comes in those low tech bags, unless it's room temp or cold. Paper bags have such a limited use, I'm surprised anyone recommends them. Reuse of them is a joke, and don't think I ever have, in my life time. With exception of lunch bag in elementary school. Want to see the paper bag boys get a bag of ice at the local vendor, or ice cream, anything frosted or hot & steamy. They are truly silly in their arguments. If upscale shops didn't have printing on them as adverts, they also wouldn't use them. If printed, then off to the landfill with them, as cost more to recycle than simply make new. I think the only time we get paper bag is from bakery or specialty shop, and simply holds what ever product that is in a plastic container ...

Agree. and MSM is everything & anything controlled by the few, which include all you pointed out. Most people are still too stupid to realize how controlled most info is that they get. AN is a fine example of the ignorance and influence of information control, at it's best. Truly is mind boggling. Embarrassing actually.

Just 'now' ... it has been for a long long time. Don't worry, it's in good company, with most of the EU & USA All a bit of som nam naa though. They seem to enjoy living with their choices. Not me ... as firmly believe in the "Love it or Leave it' thinking. I left ...

If people only live by what they are told. Buddha forbid people think for themselves, as swissie points out, way more factors than what's in MSM BS. Agree and MSM pushed 'trends' don't effect free thinkers, unless you are an idiot. Had 6 live in relationships (4 of, married), along with 30+ jobs, most less than 1 year (last one was 13 yrs). Self employed half of the time in the USA, along with RE & market investing. MSM BS didn't mean much of anything, except interest rates, and didn't stop or influence much at all. Simply adjust & adapt to conditions of the day, week, month or year.

vehicle-to-grid with FREE EV charging in the UK
KhunLA replied to Bandersnatch's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
That's crazy pricing. Big Oil & auto makers basically ban BEV from CH into the USA. To have solar installed cost 3X what we paid, and our price would be considered way overpriced now in TH, since prices have dropped. USA starting to become 3rd world auto & energy market TH being way ahead on that curve ... damn embarrassing. Nice entry price on the BYDs here, and no wonder MG sales have plummeted. Only the MG4 selling, and the rest seem stalled. Surprised S5 sales are poor, and guess the lifetime warranty isn't much of a selling point, as most expect to trade up within most battery warranty periods or 8 years. -
vehicle-to-grid with FREE EV charging in the UK
KhunLA replied to Bandersnatch's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Might be a bargain in the UK, but would substantially increase our transport cost here in TH, since we have solar. 12 hr idle wouldn't be a problem, as long as plugging in was available if we were O&A, as I don't drive at night anyway. Our car is idle usually from 1900 to 0900 hr daily anyway. In TH, at ฿750k for a no frills comfy BEV, over 5 yrs, that's only ฿12.5k a month (no DP or Int), and you own it. So cheaper with every added year you own. Instead of a new lease / purchase every 5 yrs. Might work if you buy new cars every 5 years, and give the old ones away In the USA, I only got a replacement when the old one died, or I killed it. In TH, traded in old for new, ~7 yrs at a time. Keeping cost of transport below ฿10k a month, with one exception, which will balance out ... eventually 🙄 Even if we had to pay to charge at home, it would increase or cost, as not a replace the car every 4 or 5 yrs kind of family, and don't think most Thais are. -
I don't think so, as VM, Tops, Gourmet markets seem to like wrapping or packaging every fruit & veggy selection. Makro we still get to pick the better pieces from the rack. Though have noticed they are starting tp pre package more. Kind of irrelevant, since all going in plastic bag anyway. At least Makro doesn't put all you plastic bags in yet another plastic bag at check out. If I cared, I'd just shop at the fresh market, but since already at Makro, I can't be bothered. Y'all sure do live in a different world than me. Maybe it's all location dependent.

We don't even need more than 76kw, as that is what our car will accept. Charged 4X while O&A recently, from 22% - 67% when plugging in, and car was back to 90-95% before we were done, doing what ever needed to be done, while at the charging station. From 3 of us using the toilet, to a meal, or just a simple P, coffee & pastry. Might be different if we could actually drive somewhere, anywhere at 100+ kph, but since we average ~80 kph, if lucky, the 3+ hrs is more time than I want to spend in the car. We average only 70 kph, so that's 4+ hrs before actually needing to charge, and still have a nice reserve, at 20%. We're lucky if we make 2 hrs, before one of us needs a break for what ever reason. And if having kids, good luck with that. Nice that the tech is available, but I really doubt that most need. Or willing to pay extra for, until it's standard, then will rarely be used, except long weekend in TH, when Qs are at the CS, or so I read.

Bon Cafe coffee, ground or beans, available at their shops, or sold at chain stores you don't want recommended, with so many other name brands. I preferred Bon Cafe's 'Morning Blend', tastiest for me, and added plus of being their least expensive. Finding ground coffee in TH, BKK, shouldn't be a problem.

Y'all do realize, I live in a village, (one 4 way staggered intersection, no stop sign) outside of a real town, 5 kms away, that has <26k people living there. My closest neighbor is further than 100 meters away @novacova You don't drive, but guessing you don't walk everywhere either.

Restaurants taking the biscuit, tax now per person charge !
KhunLA replied to DonniePeverley's topic in General Topics
Why would anyone use a vendor that charges you to enter, to spend money there ? One thing no Thai vendor will get from me, an entrance fee, to spend money, to eat your food. 7-11 is looking better everyday ... We eat ~90% of our meal at home anyway. We dined out 2X this month, I think, in over 2 weeks at home. Less than one week on the road this month. 1 local restaurant, and Pizza Co. -
I think they'll live, considering all the crap they burn at times. They just started municipal trash pick up, and few utilize it, as it isn't mandatory. So nuff said there. I was curious, so I actually weighed those 2 bags of 'bags', and easily more than 1 year worth of bags. Since most / 95% of our shopping is done at Makro. Oh please. I'll put my environment impact on the planet (that doesn't need saving) against 99.9% of the AN members, and come out way ahead. Most are still using fossil fuels for all your transport and energy needs. We have 3 BEVs & charge with excess solar at the house. 99+% off grid. So save your hypocrisy, about us burning maybe 1 kg worth of plastic a year. Coming up on 3 years of Solar (Aug 2022), and 99+% of our energy, comes from solar. Less than 1% from the grid, and 99+% of all local driving, from solar also. Y'all crack me up. THANKS for the chuckles Inverter is telling me, we sent more to the grid, than we used Since it's already there, again, it's a byproduct of something already being done, so use it.
