That's not too surprising, as the THB could only get stronger after the crash. Spanking from the EU hurt just as much for you as the strengthening of the THB. Same for me, almost, as arrived 2000 and TBH 40 to USD, went up to 45, then down to 29. So as long as it stays about 30+ (25% drop from 2000), I'm happy enough. Stays 30-35 / $1 USD, rarely dips below, and goes 35+ sometimes. My income has just about doubled also. Almost keeps up with the basics, whole food inflation. Others things have stayed steady, while other things have increased dramatically. Thankfully I don't need or use the higher end inflated things.

[QUIZ] 14 August - Album Covers From The 1980s

I can agree & disagree with Trump, but see his motivation at times. Take his anti EV stance, along with Biden's 100% tariff on cars from CN. If CN was allowed a free market in the USA, the USA auto makers would go belly up in 5-10 years. Look how the legacy auto makers are struggling in countries that do allow cars from CN. Losing market share and closing factories & dealers. Both Toyota & VW have announced plans to expand operations in the USA & N. America. Especially USA, as no competition from CN, knowing they simply can't compete, same as USA auto makers. USA the only market left for them, after cars from CN are taking the market share from them in UK, EU, AU & elsewhere. I see Trumps thinking, delay the inevitable, as long as possible, as auto making is a huge part of the GDP, for now. Although the USA is so far behind on the EV curve, when it does, it's going to be devastating. Meanwhile, the consumer is getting killed, with overpriced, low tech, low performing POS. Along with lack of inexpensive solar systems to energize the EV, when they do arrive or they buy now. Same applies to the jobs in the oil industry, if solar was available to the masses, though not as drastic, due to weather patterns in USA. Big Oil's total control of the transportation & energy sectors is embarrassing. But they also control the votes, as too many jobs depend on living in the 20th century. Same as auto industry. Me me me mentality, is going to be the USA's downfall. Everyone complains, but still buys the best at the best price, instead of 'buy USA', which in the long run, would increase manufacturing & jobs in the USA. Trump sees the future and tariffs are the way, but the voting consumer isn't go to see that, due to inflation, when it hits, and it all may fail, come mid term.

All Vaccines Will Kill You - The evidence is overwhelming
KhunLA replied to Red Phoenix's topic in Covid/Vaccine
Not misleading at all, as that's exactly what I posted, same as you. Only thing false is you implying, I may have implied they stopped vaccinated. From my reply ... ... "Japan stopped mandatory baby vaccinations in 1994, though still recommend some common sense ones." ... Ones I certainly wouldn't subject my kids to, would be MMR, Hep B & Polio, or any others at such an early age. Give their immune system a year of so to develop naturally. It doesn't need help ... IMHO USA's policy of injecting 20-30 shots before age the of 2, thing that they don't need (Hep & Polio) or don't work (MMR), is looney tunes. As the mortality rates show. 2+X the risk of dying. It should always be ... "My body, My choice" -
Travel Thailand Ranks Among World's Safest Countries for Solo Female Travelers
KhunLA replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Didn't get past the OP, as just another 'fluff' article, and coming in on the last comment, and replying to. Parenting matters, and being a 'control freak' of my daughter, when raising, ensured, the best I possibly could, her safety, then, and now. She commented after starting Uni and near graduating ... ... "Daddy, you changed so much ?" ... Being a lot nicer, less critical, restrictive of her life, since before Uni. "Well you're adult woman, and it's your life, if didn't learn what I wanted you to by now, then you won't in the future" ... "But you were so strict before Uni" ... "Yea, and you're not pregnant, a drunk or a doper. Know not to get involved with it, and to top it off, and excellent driver ... JOB DONE ... you're on your own now" Even taught her to try not to travel alone, and if doing, talk to your imaginary friends. Talk to empty hotel room when leaving if someone in the hall. Don't get in elevator alone if you get that unsafe feeling about someone. Look down the hall and talk with the imaginary friend again. Trust your feelings. All the other precautions one can think of. She made to 26 yrs old, so all good. A chip off the ol' block 👍👍 Anyone in a relationship with me, know well a head of time, who I am, and I'm not going to change, or try to change them. Accept or move on. Not a control freak, just set in my ways, and know the way I want it to be. Anyone is welcome to join in 😎 And it only took till age 51, ~35 of testing, to find a like minded person On topic ... as always ... any location is as safe as your common sense (and parental guidance 🙄), makes it. -

Source of reasonable Ivermectin drug?

Amphur Muang, Prachuap Khiri Khan, and they have to order it, not something they stock. That price was Nov 2024. -
If He knows my heart, then I'm in, as He is all forgiven, born sinner that I am. Though have very little to repent, and already forgiven myself, as surely He knows. Never hurt anyone, emotionally or physically. Well, physically that didn't deserve it, whether simply physical defense or defense of honor...day's past. Raised to never throw the 1st punch, and talking is always the best solution. Might not have been completely honest to an insurance company or 3 🙄 Actually was a Christian for a wee bit, until I realized the Bible is full of sh!t, if taken literally or almost literally. The more I learned, the less Christian I became, down to agnostic, to now, pretty hard core Atheist

Do you love your Toyota Hybrid? You should
KhunLA replied to Rimmer's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Just answering a reply, about someone's concern of battery warranty and replacement cost. An intelligent person would buy one that has a lifetime warranty. Just passing info, facts from manufacturers, not opinions, that some folks might not know about. I believe that's the whole purpose of the forum. -

KhunLA replied to Rimmer's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Owning 2 Vios s, basically a Yaris, and the Yaris Cross simply a Yaris on steroids, then I think I can guess how the ride might by. as the Vios was a POS, for the price point. Though again, did serve us well. Did have to replace the water pump, expensive strut, and wheel bearings, in less than 7 yrs / 125k kms owning. So much for that reliability reputation, and I didn't beat it. Yep, entitled to, and able to give my opinion. They, the Corolla Cross, does 'look nice', but competition now, takes it out of any consideration ... IMHO, as the above post points out. Overpriced & underperforming, with crap warranty on battery. If so good, then why not a lifetime battery ? ... hmm -

KhunLA replied to Rimmer's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
I'd buy an MG BEV then, as they come with a lifetime battery warranty. Also cheaper than the Toyota Cross. Take a peek at the MG S5. Toyota Corolla Cross has overall dimensions of 4460mm (length) x 1825mm (width) x 1620mm (height). source: MG Thailand Top Cross model, quite overpriced & underperforming ... IMHO Along with MG S5, much less cost to maintain & operate. You could take that 300k baht saved from buying the premium model, you could get a solar system at the house. Now we're talking, damn near free electric, for home & BEV. How much is your electric & petrol bill now a month. Mine's less than 100 baht, and used to be upwards to 10k baht a month. Work smarter, not harder source: https://www.headlightmag.com/official-price-toyota-corolla-cross-hev-li-ion/ -
So they say, though just a bunch of hypocrites ... IMHO Do what ever you want, just go to confessional on Sunday, a few hail Marys & some coins in the basket, and start the slate clean every week. I don't know any Christian that isn't a hypocrite, and they always fall back on, 'we were born sinners'. What's really sad is, Atheist that I am, and I'm the most moral person that I know, and a hypocrite at times. But don't make excuses for it.

Source of reasonable Ivermectin drug?
KhunLA replied to Longlivedixie's topic in Health and Medicine
As written, so assuming, 60 mg tabs. 6 mg would be really expensive. -
The same could be said ... there is no hard evidence, that GOD and or an afterlife, does not exist. Myself, I'm a hopeful Atheist. Not agnostic though, just hope to be pleasantly surprised. But with some of the near death, after death & resuscitated experiences ... I'm hopeful, but won't be disappointed if nothing happens. 2 brothers & wives are hard core Christian warriors. The 3rd, not sure, as we don't talk, but his wife is, although Catholic. Not sure if Catholic counts as Christian

Had it, and it will pass on it's own. I didn't even bother with meds or drops. Antibodies may or may not help, depending if it is a viral or bacterial infection. For bacterial, Cipro is available in TH, although, if not prescribed that already, do NOT, start using. I actually did that once, even waited till the half life was supposedly well past, and started one penicillin based antibody after a previous one. Big F'g mistake, and my only oops of self medicating for decades of. Talk about muscle & joint pain ... Ouch.

Dairy Rich 'full cream', and do a side by side with you present favorite, and you won't be disappointed. Some use it as a creamer in their coffee, and really makes sense over the other powdered creamers.

Also a Mitsubishi fan. Now have 2 heavy duty inverters, and run flawlessly, conditioning much larger area than rated for. Well built & insulated house. Only 2.5 yrs old. One runs almost 24/7 and the other about 10 hrs a day. Use very little electric once up to temp. 4 Mitsubishis in previous house, 7 yrs on, no issues. 3 Mitsubishi in 1st house, 7 yrs on, no issues. Need to keep clean, every 3 to 6 months for us. Take care of them, and they'll take care of you.
