I just spent less than 1 hour on the internet, non forum & scrolling through 8 hrs of the forum, probably spent more time adding about 10 hate spewing members to my 'list', than actual reading any threads. The 2 or 3 threads I did read, had more hate toward Thais, Tesla, Trump & strangely Melania than intelligent replies. Just finished 1st cup of coffee, and remember days when I'd respond to 10 threads before even starting my 2nd cup. I know post counts & traffic is important, but if sponsors ever read the forum, Holy Buddha, one would wonder if they really want some of them as customers Maybe as an online shop customer, but certainly wouldn't want them in my bar or restaurant, if owning.

Yea, I'm having a hard time even bothering any more, and find the forum is starting to be more boring than doing nothing at all. Sitting on the sofa with the dog, looking out at the bird & squirrels is more intellectually stimulating One utterly, stupid and ridiculous thread after another. I'm actually up to, now, 85, people on my ignore list. If not a silly thread to start, it gets ruined with 10 post by some deranged person. I'm off, think I'll just lay here and listen to the dog snore 😎

Georgia House Democrats staged a dramatic walkout over potential ban
KhunLA replied to riclag's topic in Political Soapbox
Gender affirming care should simply be a biology lesson, and psyc-therapy, to make them realize, they are a male or female, from birth, and that will never change. -
OK, insensitive, but I would let him simply bleed out. When people want to kill themselves, why let them be disappointed in their effort. At least they accomplish something correctly in their life.

What do you do with all your free time these days?
KhunLA replied to KhunLA's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Got rid of a lot of the dupes, as kind of easy. The rest, I just left, as too tedious to try. I enjoy watching old vids of holidays and stuff, especially of daughter when younger. Plenty of crap saved, but lots of stuff that has meaning to me. -

Don't believe I said it did.

Yes it is. I only buy 'Harvey' brand from AU, for steaks. Get fresh ground local (lean or brisket) for my burgers or tacos.

Nothing going on over there, USA, will affect us here. And only if you don't 'buy USA' will it affect those living in USA. Though guessing, most will still buy the best product at the best price, and that will be imports. USA simply can't compete any more, tariffs or not. When USA companies start manufacturing in the USA, thing may change, though doubtful. Profits rule.

Real registration numbers tell a much different story, and let's stick to BEV, as ICEV are still the most sold, though losing market share every month. As stated on the other thread, you'd have to be nuts to not at least look at BEV, before plopping your hard earned money down for an under performing, overpriced, low tech, expensive to maintain ICEV. Asking the wrong person, as I stopped paying attentions, since having BEVs already, and no interest for another, unless they come out with a 700k basic pick up with a proper size cargo bed. That apparently ain't happening, as they're all simply SUVs with a small, useless, cargo bed ... IMHO Just saw that promo in my FB feed. Damn 200k less than my daughters Atto 3, bought last year. But she couldn't wait, as her POS Mazda 2 was dying.

Why do you all anti Trumpers keep embarrassing yourselves with all these silly threads. Just reading the titles is enough to ignore them. You obviously have no idea about investing in the markets long haul, or short haul, or at all. Seek some therapy, get some sleep ....

I posted, just stay in the Muang / capital city of province. Anything else, too small and boring, along with, might drop you off in the middle of nowhere, with no transport around. I'd search for the most convenient guesthouse, closest to the best restaurant and or pub. Pluses, if it has a view, lake or stream. Nothing else needed, especially if you take some companionship of your choosing with you.

Not if you hop off and stroll around every Muang city. Have a great munch, overnight and then hit the next on the train line. Bangkok Ayutthaya Lopburi Nakhon Sawan Phichit Phitsanulok Uttaradit Nakhon Lampang Lamphun Chiang Mai

Missing Tsunami Warning Towers in Phuket Spark Safety Concerns
KhunLA replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
Only about 250 people died on Phuket during the tsunami. And probably all on street level. People should be a lot wiser now, and not get caught off guard. Even that was a once in a century occurrence. More than enough high ground near most of the western beaches to seek refuge. -
Anyone considering buying a new car, ICEV, you really need to go peek at BEVs. This will put a major dent in any 'made in TH' ICEV sales. Along with most JP imports. Better, less expensive, and you never need to buy petrol again

Missing Tsunami Warning Towers in Phuket Spark Safety Concerns
KhunLA replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
So ... Never by to Phuket With the slightest advanced warning, nobody should get hurt on Phuket. -
Just like every other province, town, tourist don't visit. Smalls-ville, and Muang only has 120k people, maybe, and just over half million in the whole province. Like most of TH, need to self entertain, unless you actually think most Wats or parks here are actual tourist attractions. Don't think I ever even bothered to overnight there, and that's rare, as few provinces I haven't slept in, at least 1 night.
