Egg & pineapple don't belong on a beef or any burger. I'm a Yank, not an Aussie.

Wagyu anything ... nothing but a pricing scam No Japanese steers in TH, or real Wagyu that any CC can afford.

A burger is one of the last things I'd leave the house to order at a restaurant. An overpriced sandwich is not something I leave the house for, when so many better options to eat. Right behind a full or any 'egg & meat' breakfast, as 2 things I usually don't order when dining out. Can't help with any suggestions, aside from a consistent Double Whopper. Never failed in the past. In a pinch and can't think of anything else (rare) when O&A, that Double Pork Burger @ 7-11 will do

Thai Restaurant Industry Faces Crisis as Purchases Plummet by 40%
KhunLA replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Most of my favorites are still busy. Provide good food @ good price, and you're successful. Not just local, as when O&A, if convenient, we'll support old favorites. -
I find that to be a good thing, and will build character while preparing them for the future workforce. May even learn a valuable trade. I worked while in high school, illegally till 0100 hrs on school nights and back to back 12 hr shifts on weekends. All by choice, simply because I wanted to earn money, 'legally'. Other option was being a criminal. Guess it's not for everyone, but gave me some good work experience & ethics. Teenagers need to prepare for the real world, not be cuddled. Even better if they are self employed at an early age. Wish I though of that earlier. Wouldn't have wasted more than a few years being an underpaid, unappreciated employee.

MG ZS has LFP, and since having Solar, charge when we can with excess, and usually in the 80s% back to 100% every 3rd ish day. As soon as solar start producing over 1kWh, I'll plug in, and will be done around noon, and time for the dog to take me for morning walk. Unless exploring locally, or back from an O&A, then rarely below 70%. On return from O&A, like to come back at around 20%. 99% of charging done with Granny charger, unless O&A, overnighting somewhere. Wall charger on the grid, so that rarely get used. Have E-MC for those days it needs to be charging all day or 2 Added plus that LFP doesn't mind being charged to 100% often, so no real thought involved.

KhunLA replied to CaptainSplod's topic in Hua Hin and Cha-Am

Open 0800-1700, (closed Sunday) not sure what 'central' is, but most things close. https://www.google.com/maps/place/T%26M+Cafe94/@12.5544289,99.9552247,3a,75y,90t/data=!3m8!1e2!3m6!1sAF1QipMQEB7fV93QpSWps6j5cSRTjTC1o10xedUN-9pL!2e10!3e12!6shttps:%2F%2Flh5.googleusercontent.com%2Fp%2FAF1QipMQEB7fV93QpSWps6j5cSRTjTC1o10xedUN-9pL%3Dw203-h152-k-no!7i4080!8i3072!4m9!3m8!1s0x30fdab00133a639f:0xba4f470cca835883!8m2!3d12.5542749!4d99.9552021!10e5!14m1!1BCgIYIA!16s%2Fg%2F11vj_hfqy2?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDMyNC4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D -
Blessing indeed, and amazing I made it this far @ 70. Not the best gene pool, as only a couple have made it longer. Though most self induced, lung & liver cancer. Past my father @ 69, and 3 yrs to pass mother @ 73, which is amazing, since a chain smoking Alky. Oldest I know of on mother's side, just passed, my cousin, @ 84. That's a plus. Brother's still healthy @ 77, 72, 65. On paper, I look healthy enough, all numbers in good range. No complaints here, been retired for 25 yrs, and a bit of a charmed life before retiring. Be Happy ... Be Safe

Are you ready for smartphones to become obselete?
KhunLA replied to Jingthing's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
Not in our lifetime, or even this century. Now we have a handheld, All in One, phone, computer, camera, GPS. That's going to be pretty hard to beat, especially for the low cost of a decent one at <฿10k -

Do I Have to Carry My Passport
KhunLA replied to NickyLouie's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
If you carry your PP, then no worries. If prone to losing things ... oh well. AI response when asked on Google ... Another source ... -
Why, they ain't stupid. They already have their own alliances; SEATO, ASEAN (not just for trade, but security also) Thailand already rubbing shoulders with JMSDF (Japan), and a Thai naval taskforce arrived in Zhanjiang for Blue Strike-2025 joint naval training, on Tuesday. Y'all need to keep up, maybe read some other stuff, besides AN Apparently Jose doesn't get out much either, maybe because not part of SEATO

Do I Have to Carry My Passport
KhunLA replied to NickyLouie's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Legally yes, but a photo on your phone works, and your entry / visa stamp, or snap of TM47 date, if applicable. I carry with me all the time, if we're out of the house, as my most important document, and is safest with me. And, never stolen or loss, in ~40 yrs of having PPs. -

Trump Unveils 25% Auto Tariffs, Escalating Global Trade Tensions

Timing is everything, and as I noted, same as you ... "On Friday evenings, weekends and holidays" I've driven Phetchkasem / Hwy #4, quite a bit, living in PKK, all the way north, and all the way south, more than a few times. Along with hwy 41, 1, 2, 3, 9, 11, 12, 21, 24, 31, 37, 210, 323, etc etc etc. No problem, usually ... IF, paying attention to that 'timing'. Of course if you travel around a M to F work and school schedule, than you're sure to experience a lot of congestion. We don't so ,we don't get to experience all that congestion.

The depends what you eat the rest of the day, week, month. Cholesterol isn't necessarily bad for you, as your body needs & makes 80-85% of what it needs, whether you eat it or not. Extra isn't necessarily a bad thing. Eating good cholesterol is better than letting your body make bad cholesterol. On topic of course .... both look OK, and decent values, if you don't cook for yourself, as usually healthier ingredients if you do, and know how. Fine if you live out of a box room or condo.

Are you ready for smartphones to become obselete?
KhunLA replied to Jingthing's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
One of the sillier 'what if' & 'won't happen' in most of our life times. What next, ground transport obsolete and we all have flying cars or jet packs Right up there with MMCC/GW & rising seas, along with WW III of course 😎 -
Why do people move to Thailand to discuss politics so much?
KhunLA replied to Harrisfan's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Just the demand for taxes. The rest is at our discretion, if, how and when to do things, within or outside of their 'policies, regulations'. I've preferred to be on the outside of, and works better. Me me me ... mine, and keeping as much as possible
