  1. That's what the 'paint' app is for, makes anything look better. Well done ... welcome to solar. You'll love it, every month when the PEA/MEA bill arrives.
  2. Might want to read back a few pages, as OP may be a bit more open minded than when first posted. Hybrid crossed his mind already, and with further research, who knows @fezza If he realizes more than enough CS between Phuket - Bangkok - Phetchabun (Khao Kho), it may even sway his decision more. As I've driven those routes many times, and more than enough CS along the way, and actually the whole of TH. I've been to both Phuket & Phetchabun, and beyond, a few times since owning our EV. Never a charging issue. Real life experience over BS spewed by other non EV owners. We live in Prachuap Khiri Khan, for reference.
  3. I'd go ASAP to IMM or One Stop office if available. New visa may be different than extension of visa. Only they can answer, not any of us. If not reset, you're only a week pass grace period ... dress nice & smile a lot. A box of Krispy Kreme donuts wouldn't hurt, cheaper than 2000 baht.
  4. You should be able to find one in the ฿16-฿20k price range. I've seen them advertised with decent spec for that price. I'm an ASUS fan, though edit vids & photos, so need better specs. Specifically a bit more RAM & graphic card that isn't integrated, as those 2 requirements, push the price pass ฿20k to ฿30k. Doesn't seen you'll need the extra specs, though does make things run a lot smoother. Make sure you buy from a manufacturer's site or an authorized reseller of. From another thread, found this laptop, and would be well worth spending the few extra baht for it, even though better specs than you really need. I'd get that, if I could find a vendor that still carries it, if not out of your budget.
  5. Seems about the correct ruling. I guess biden forgot he lives in a Republic, and social issues are decided by the states, not Federal laws. Males will use the male toilets, and compete against males in sports Females will continue to feel safe in the toilet and not be dominated by males in female sports. HINT ... you have a penis, you ARE a male. Call yourself what you want, but you ARE a male.
  6. Their chart is a bit off, and the EP has same size battery as the ZS. #1. This is TH not the USA #2. Really wouldn't trust anything the EPA says Real life experience over corrupt govt agency. UP2U... But I don't want to sit in a car for 3-4 hrs. I try to avoid DVT, and like to eat once in awhile, stretch the legs, P at a toilet, not in a bottle while driving. Actually enjoy the journey. Notice the chart states the NETA V & MG ZS/EP are about the same, even though the MGs have about 25% more battery
  7. The MG EP and our ZS have the same specs, almost, and we get 3-4 hrs on Thai roads before the need to top up. Surely after 3 - 4 hours on the road, or sooner, you are going to stop. Simply charge when you do. We've taken long trip, even during long weekends, and never a problem. Owning a BEV has added little, if any, time to our journeys. People that don't own EV, obviously don't realize that. If you have the Seal, do you really won't to be on the road and not stop for 6-8 hrs, as if that is even possible with a wife and or kids in the car. What world do you live in ?
  8. He may be leaning toward a hybrid, though more research, and you never know 👍
  9. All I'd state to the OP, same as everyone, simply ignore the 'opinions' on this forum/thread. Thankfully in TH, you have a wide and varied choice of both ICEV & EV (BEV or PHEV). Suggest you do as I do, and 'shop' specs first and compare, for value to baht, before even stepping into a dealer. Whittle it down to what you want, and how much you want to pay for it. Then go test drive, and lease your final decision for a week, before buying. I would ignore the anti EV/CH trolls, that have never owned, or even driven an EV. For that matter, may not even own a car (one vocal one on this thread now). Happy Shopping
  10. On the subject of canal side / floating markets, there's Ong Ang Walking Street, and quite nice, at Krung Thep, and we've been a few times. West side of ChinaTown, MRT very close and couple bus lines cruise, so easy to get to/from. Non canal/floating market, but needs a mention, Sunday Old Town Phuket night market, quite nice.
  11. Like Krabi town, and haven't been in long time. Almost popped in last time time close, at Phang-nga, but car was acting up, and wanted to get back home. Turned out to be a damn loose wire Was at Ao Nang a couple times during the 'situation', for a pit stop/overnighter, and lovely, though most things were shuttered.
  12. Leftovers for a mid afternoon snack. Wife whipped up a Ginger Pork & shroom thingy the other day. Running out of different things to post Think I need to do some experimenting soon 😎
  13. You got me thinking after reading your post / Everest 3L, so curious that I am, this may interest you. Now that I see you're not as closed minded at I thought. Happy Shopping
  14. Thoughts from another thread. Not even considering the Haval H6 has a 32kWh battery, with NEDC range of 200 kms, so really life, probably 150 kms knocking around town, on full electric. Everest is a fuel hog 24/7. Havel H6 will save you big baht when O&A Along with saving you ฿580k when you buy it. Im thinking a nice installed Solar System for the house, w/change in the pocket. Even more savings. Having Solar & BEV saves us from ฿6 - ฿10k a month, from electric & petrol costs, if not more. But hey ... UP2U
  15. And yet your OP is asking to improve water pressure ... go figure Have a nice day
  16. Didn't see it, or I wouldn't have wasted my time. Usually don't respond to the closed minded members. You need better apps for better info ...
  17. Saw that, typing at the same time. He's a bit faster than me. 5 charging stations for all of Phuket He will be living there, and can plug in at home, imagine that. @fezza On Phuket a few times since owning the ZS, not problem charging. And if he gets the Haval H6 .... he'll definitely be happy
  18. A mere 10k baht, (tank & pump) and that cheap enough for a comfy shower & water pressure every time you turn the faucet. You could do it on the cheap for <1000 baht, Simple trash can & sump pump
  19. Scratch that post, and edited it out already to emoji From you post earlier, if you want performance, take a peek at the Haval H6, best of both worlds.
  20. Lets think on that ... women's rights to education from male dominated societies of the past would explain a lot of that. Now more current times ... ... men seem to give women, anything they want ... who walks out of divorce court with a bigger smile ... how man AN members cry on here, "ex got everything" In TH ... WW III scenario. World goes to sh!t, supply lines down, world trade stopped. Do you want to be living in your box room condo at BKK, CM, Patts, or living rural with your Thai wife, who can live off the land, along with some local farms still bartering food, probably to Thais only ? If you can get past your misogynist thinking ... ... wiki ... 101 ... scientist ... etc & etc I don't see a whole lot of women, paying men to be with Now ... who's the smart one, and who's the idiot 🙄
  21. Finally found the one I was thinking of, best one for food, and I was the only foreigner there, 4 years ago. Sept 2020, so during covid, and would explain no foreigners there. TH still shut down at the time, thankfully, as reading current reviews, seems quite the tourist spot now. Got to love a good pandemic. Over by hwy 9 (west), well past most of the local canal floating markets to Bangkok. Khlong Lat Mayom Floating Market
  22. Most women are smarter than most men, everywhere, not just TH.
