I take a stroll w/Gmap Streetview of the ol' hometown, and don't recognize much. Residential and some friends homes, the few still their are familiar. But the commercial areas, completely different. Some for the good, some not so good. HS classmate's Cheesesteak & Hoagie Shop still there. Old stone buildings (trolley & train station), shuttered (?) _, along with a lot of it's character. Suburbia Philly, PA, USA (smalls-ville), 5700 people / 2.00 km2 -

Do to new rule 39a, I can't elaborate, though would suggest Googling ... 'mineral oil to loosen ear wax' Also I forgot to mention, to remove wax after drops applied and waiting a few days, to flush ear with warm water. Can be done with ear bulb, or just your shower head set to strong pulse. Really isn't rocket science. Before others chime in, I guess I should add, when using a Q tip to maintain/remove wax build up weekly or so, when in shower, a good flush with water, which you should be doing anyway, to remove soap. Using the Q tip, you just entering the ear canal, where the is an obvious 'lip / edge'. Then not going into, near the ear drum, (actually deeper than you'd think) you simply press and pull against te edge and pull out. Flip the Q tip, and then do the other side of the inner edge. I angle downward & upward along the inner edge. You may have a piece of wax, or simply an obvious wax discoloration of the Q tip .... DONE Nothing technical or dangerous ... or ... continue to pay the doc ever 6 months to do pretty much the same.

Not really, as a couple drops of mineral oil will loosen it up. A doc told me that, when I used to get my ears cleaned ever 6 months or so, and didn't for a while. Headed out of town, when I went in, so he put a couple drops of mineral oil in my ear and said come back next week. Told him I wouldn't be around and he simply said go to a doc on Phuket, or just flush with warm water to remove the wax myself. Hmm ... what happen to, "never sticking anything smaller than your elbow in your ear". Now simply use Q tip ever week or so, after a shower, and haven't been to a doc to clean my ears in well over 15+ years. EDIT: I forgot to mention, to remove wax after drops applied and waiting a few days, to flush ear with warm water. Can be done with ear bulb, or just your shower head set to strong pulse. Really isn't rocket science.

Your prejudice and ignorance does not negate their existence I'm glad they are not following Gates foundation model of killing people through their philanthropy. Here's just a few: Joon Wanavit: The 85-year-old founder of Hatari Electric donated a significant sum to the Ramathibodi Foundation, supporting the hospital's nursing school, medical learning center, and a new hospital building, according to the Bangkok Post. Harald Link: He is a Thai-German industrialist and philanthropist, known for his charitable work, and was recognized as one of the world's billionaires. Charoen and Wanna Sirivadhanabhakdi: The couple, through their foundation, provide medical supplies to hospitals and support cultural initiatives, as reported by Tatler Asia. Vikrom Kromadit: The founder and chairman of Amata Corp was also recognized by Forbes Asia as one of its leading philanthropists https://www.forbesthailand.com/category/heroes-of-philanthropy

How many more families can the Gates Foundation destroy ... ... "The Gates Foundation focuses on world health and population and highlights its strategy of accelerating scientific discovery with reducing costs. Since the early 2000s, the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunizations (Gavi), Global Health Innovative Technology Fund and PATH, all heavily funded by the Gates Foundation, have been distributing vaccines and drugs to vulnerable populations in Africa and India. In 2010, the Gates Foundation funded experimental malaria and meningitis vaccine trials across Africa and HPV vaccine programs in India. All of these programs resulted in numerous deaths and injuries, with accounts of forced vaccinations and uninformed consent. Ultimately, these health campaigns, under the guise of saving lives, have relocated large scale clinical trials of untested or unapproved drugs to developing markets where administering drugs is less regulated and cheaper." ... source: https://digitalcommons.law.ggu.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1205&context=annlsurvey

Are high end smartphones worth the money (to you)?
KhunLA replied to impulse's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
No to me, as don't need or would use any features that my old POCO phone has. Rarely use the actually phone part. GPS & camera is about all I need. Maybe internet, as 'hotspot', when house or hotel internet isn't playing nice. New & fast enough to run the few apps I have loaded on it. -
My total cholesterol / HDL ratio & Trig / HDL ratio are both excellent. Even 6 months ago, when my total cholesterol was off the chart @ 353, my Cholesterol / HDL - C ratio was a desirable 5.1 Too high for my liking, so brought it down. On topic of course ... Glucose now 5.3 Even better on the cholesterol front, and everyone should get this tested, as one of the best non invasion (OK , needle / blood test), got my ApoB # back today, and 87. Should be dying of any CVD anytime soon, hopefully. These are #s everyone should know about themselves, and the tests are inexpensive here: Lipid panel. ApoB & Glucose 2 were < 600 baht 1 was < 400 baht
