50+ years. I use to have franchise in 70s, Jamaican/Columbia, then silent partner for the primo Yank stuff, 80s & 90s. Part 1 ... agree, though thankfully, hippy dippy days in Philly were 'normal'. God & morality was ignored by us. Part 2 ... that's a damn shame. At least you're going out with a bang here. I've got no complaints, and one reason it took me so long to retire, I was simply having too much fun. As I posted, it was quite good. More than happy with it, for comparison sake. Half gram doobie did the trick for 3-4 hrs. Can't ask for more. Expensive, and that's relative. 2nd purchase, fairly identical to TBH, and even better, as 1/5th (1/10th) the price per gram (79 vs 14 baht). Same half gram, giving the same 3-4 hr buzz. For all of 7 baht. I'm set for a couple years.

Labels, photos and #s / % s don't seem to mean much. Guess I was lucky, as 1/2 gram seemed to do the trick for me, and 39.5 & 7 baht / gr for that buzz works even better. You can call it what you want and pay what you want .... I'll just twist up another doobie if I need. Although, haven't yet needed to. That's why I live where I do, as no need or desire to be around the industry of, or the lot that it attracts. Even if single I wouldn't live near Patts or Patong beaches.

Yes, there's a corruption office for that, as people in Udon Thani used, once known, for issues at Amphur, land office & Imm. and a few 'policies' were dropped. I know I wouldn't be married if I had to pay someone ฿10k / $300 to watch a clerk stamp a piece of paper. That is literally all they'd be doing since OP has all the paperwork. Count your blessing ... maybe, as there really is NO reason to get married. Unless too young for a retirement visa, in which case, make sure you know why you are getting married, and not just for ease of paperwork.

5000 baht or risk judgement in court ... ... surely court will be much less than 5000 baht. Thinking 500 baht fine for petty theft, if that. Certainly no judge would impose jail time. And I would appeal it, just to F with the landowner, and make him come back to court. And appeal it again. Right up to the Thai's version of supreme court. Right to life vs landowner ... ????

As an intern'l tourist or even an expat, HH wouldn't be my choice for a holiday, especially a beach holiday. Over night pit stop, long weekend maybe (Jazz Fest), but not as a holiday destination, especially from afar.

A 30 amp breaker can handle 6900 watts, so good luck tripping that. Use 2 X 20amp or 30amp if you think you need. Not many appliance pull more than 2000w. I don't think we have anything that pulls more. Induction at 2000w, everything is less, 1800, 1600, 1200 to <1000. All should be noted on your appliances. Most frigs pull < 1000, and more like 500-700w.

Simply go 1 Amphur over from where you are, and try there. If unsuccessful, keep going. You're the 1st person I've heard of that was 'refused'. I've gotten married in Krung Thep & Udon Thani. Quick, easy, cheap.

That varies with the exchange rate. Knock a half baht off, and that's ballpark what shows up. This month (1st week) to the low of Feb 2021 ... Expecting 36.? something in about 10 day. Maybe even 37 ... ????
