Yea, that's what I thought, and part of that 41 ish conx fee. Only thing I can think of, is a conx got wet & grounded for a bit. Though 1 kWh is quite a bit. Did see a gecko scurry away in meter (alive), when I walked up to it. Can't see one making a conx long enough to draw a kwh. Didn't see any bbq'd inside. Head scratcher. If it goes to 65, I'll turn off at switch, then see if it goes to 66 afterward. Need to ring them up anyway, as I see it's printed 5(100)A, and supposed to be 30A service, unless they simply use same meters, which is probably the case. Installer knows we're suppose to have 30A as mentioned it when swamping meters. Was curious why wanting, and nodded, 'understood' when told EV on the way. meter.mp4

Pheu Thai call for government action to prevent shooting incidents

We all know how or should know how to stop all gun violence. And we all know why or should know why that will never happen. -
I'm going to guess and say they run almost every hour. Daughter used when coming down from Krung Thep and there's a couple companies that run that route. Going back up just pay to go beyond Hua Hin and most drivers will drop you off wherever you like as long as they don't have to go off the main road. 100 baht tip always helps and I doubt if they'll be able to actually go into the airport as probably not allowed. If not going to stop for 100 baht, you may want to offer more since the taxis from downtown Hua Hin to the airport are a bit silly. The train is very convenient as it drops off right in town since there are not a whole lot of taxis waiting for fares at the van stop. Van depot is on Phetkasem road, highway 4, at the intersection and it's 1 ish km to surfside. Not really far unless you're caring or dragging a bag along with you. At present you can still cross the railroad tracks. That won't be an option in the future when they put the fencing up for the dual high speed line. Nothing to worry about this year or next.

If you haven't seen the movie yet, that was decent: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1189340/?ref_=vp_vi_tt -
The digital meter sucks up a bit of energy, for what it is. When 2nd ESS installed, I snapped a photo, and @ 62. Then noticed next day or so, was @ 63, and guess it may not have taken much to break 62, as no small reading available. Today, just a few days later, and @ 64. So used a whole kw to run the meter ??? W T F ... guess I won't be seeing any -0- use bills ????

Survey – Bangkok among 5 best cities for expats to live and work in 2022
KhunLA replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
No argument from me. I've been happy, where ever I've lived. Happier and enjoyed some spots more than others, but always happy. I self entertain easy. So you don't live in TH or have plans on retiring here. As most, if not all of TH, has a spot of bad AQI #s during the year. Certainly not like most of EU & USA, where AQI most of the year is under 50. One of the reasons I enjoy rainy season, as nice and green, and fresh air. Only get a couple months of 75-100 AQI, and a good time to explore further south. -
At least 20 people killed in mass shooting in Thailand: Police

You need different news sources, as part of top stories of news sites I visit. Neither allowed to be posted here. Not MSM, but very informative. Actually reported before the BBC. -
Lucky enough living rural, to have more than a few critters to photograph. From the front or back porch, without even going outside for more than a few. https://photos.app.goo.gl/y3XUzVi6qiuo9gPKA

Hotel brekkies, unless full on buffets, w/egg station, are usually a disappointment. We usually pass on brekkie. Decent value, if you don't mind your hot being room temp at best, or your cold being not even close, with some of the worse coffee and sugar'd up orange drink passed off as OJ. That said ... during covid, the ibis / Mercure chains stopped the buffet and went ala carte, and order as much as you want, until stuffed. Most coming out fresh & hot. A pleasant change & surprise.

I did state we're below HH, so any and all areas south of have better air quality than Krung Thep. You're actually under the impression I would care what you think, or your criticism ... that's some funny sh!t right there. Have a nice day -
