I don't get this. The bank asked OP to fax verification of address but then accepted details over the phone. Surely that's why you can add/edit address details on internet banking or via bank app...

Most countries walk on the same side they drive on so for Thailand that would be the left. As an Aussie I also walk on the left. The ony ones I see walk on the right look like American (or European?)

How are cars not considered expensive here? I'd say they are almost twice as expensive as they are in Australia, which is also not a cheap place for cars. That's why they have so any cheap scooters here and fit the whole family on one

That's a great point, they may have had bus tickets to Nong Khai or Changmai whereby a bus from Pattaya to the Bangkok bus interchange makes perfect sense

There are many people here that have a load of retirement cash but still sit in bars buying 60 baht beer so you might think they're scraping by.... Also what's at the bottom of Pattaya Klang? Do you not have the bank phone app? My Westpac account seems pretty easy to change address and order new (Debit) card. It also has a chat function where you can ask for their email instead of fax?

I did mine on my phone a few weeks ago and was easy to download the pdf notification but I'm not sure about on PC. I did notice this pop-up saying you've ony got 7 days to search and retrieve record so you'd only have a few days left to find it

I've had the mini cod & chips at Witherspoons many times as thought it was good (and big enough meal)

I had a look but thought it was too expensive compared to others (was more like Aussie prices than Pattaya). Here's an example, even their "Friday Special" is 300 baht (and pic doesn't look great)

I've just logged on and see format has changed so that "Topics" and "Populat Posts" are pinned at the top on every page. Not a fan as an example now to get to visa page is: (1) main menu scroll past "topics" and "popular posts" and then click Visas on popular forums (2) scroll past "topics" and "popular posts" and then click visa residency forum (3) scroll past "topics" and "popular posts" and can finally see visa threads I was looking for (4) click on thread and again scroll past "topics" and "popular posts" to read posts So 4 times having to scroll past the same topics and popular posts I never read just to be able to see the sub-forum posts I'm specifically looking for. I can understand why have on main page, but why every page?

I responded to the post you quoted so no, I didn't read anymore more of your posts. It still doesn't make sense as you say it's vegan because it's potatoes cooked in vegetable oil, which you then say "most places will use vegetable oil for chips" so by that most places have vegan chips? I have no idea why vegan Chips is even a term. Do we also have vegan peas to go with the fish & chips 😀
