I'm starting to wonder if you hear voices. How can you be getting screamed at 50-60 times a day from across the street? There's a Thai lady I walk by every day on beach road who is always loudly shouting at people no-one else can see...sound familiar 😉

So I just added soi honey and soi Dianna to my morning walk. Many bikes and food bike/carts going wrong way of course. What's funny is they painted the blue one-way signs on most of it except nothing on 2nd road end of soi Dianna. So there is nothing indicating 2nd road entrance to Dianna is not allowed (once you're on it it's not as if you can turn around)

Might be worth having a few drinks at Nikom Court today to watch the show 😀

The only thing Vegas is that each of the 10 bars are named after a famous Vegas bar/casino. I personally couldn't care less about what it's called, it has very good atmosphere so great place

The new beer bar complex on Soi Diana (opposite LK Metro entrance) was absolutely packed last night. Some real good looking girls, good band, nice air-con and cheap drinks. Nice addition to Pattaya nightlife 😀

OP was talking about walking on pavements not roads. I think most smart people in Pattaya walk on the right on roads so they can see traffic coming...I do notice lots of people on Soi Bukhao not doing that though 😀

This thread reminded me to get my Wtherspoons mini Cod & chips today. 189 baht well spent 😀

Go to a different bank. I just opened an account at Krungsri bank with a non-o e-visa and all I had to show was the entry stamp with the non-o scribbled in pen (I brought the e-visa printout as well but they didn't want to see it)

It's visa exempt entries not VoA and you'll have no problem at all. Even if you came in every month you shouldn't have a problem given the short stays you do

I'm here on a non-O e-visa obtained from Canberra Embassy in March (Sydney consulate is only for NSW residents). It took me <72 hours to get my visa and I received it on a week-end so they are not constrained to business days. Only had to upload copy of passport ID page, passport photo, Aussie bank statement ($A equiv. of 800k baht) and drivers licence. No accommodation or flight tickets required (just enter flight number and date of arrival)

As 18th of May is a Saturday when immigration is closed, I would go for tomorrow 17th May 😉

OP started the ridiculous rumour that exiting automatic gates could invalidate a re-entry permit based on a sign only he saw. Common sense says this can't be true as how does an automated gate invalidate a re-entry stamp in a passport? The above post also confirms this is not true. Maybe OP saw a sign that said "please make sure you have a re-entry permit before using exit gates", who knows but I'm really surprised Aseannow let's a false news story go on for so long...why?

What happens when someone posts in the Pattaya forum: haven't been there for more than 12 hours in 15 years as it's a sleazy <deleted> hole. I don't agree with that and I am offended that someone who obviuosly doesn't like or even visits Pattaya has to come into a Pattaya forum and troll us that live there. You are correct in that I don't need to change their mind, however they need to stop visiting sub-forums about a place they have a hatred for.... Why should we just accept their obvious troll post without comment? Or should we go to their sub-forum and post everyday about how much we hate their life choice?
