During a visit to a friend in Hua Hin who lived in one of those posh pool villa residences in Hin Lek Fai, I ran into stray dogs at least twice. Not to mention the rude falang dog owners of the residence who were allowing their dogs to <deleted> and urine in front of other homes, where the owners were absent.

Due to such idiots, they will start asking for a mandatory overpriced special search-rescue insurance to be taken by all falangs in Thailand.

No problem for staff when the thai's don't leave a penny as a tip. But when it's a farang and he or she does not leave a tip, it's the long faces and better not go back there the next time. Such behaviour is damaging the image of Thailand and preventing tourists to want to come or come back.

Do the update. If not, on the next visit to the bank the teller will have a message given by the system that the previous passport has expired and you will not be able to draw, assuming you are in another town then where you opened your account.

Staying full time in Thailand is a headache per se. Shift, if you can. Other Asian countries are far less a hassle. -

With all the thieves and crooks all over Thailand now, the hotels need to adapt and strengthen customer security in Thailand. Maybe a facial recon system on each door or fingerprint scanner ?...or any other method that will perhaps make it more difficult for all the scumbags to rob tourists in their hotels in Thailand ?
