  1. I had a girlfriend in UK who was managing director of a big media company and i was in banking. We bought a house together and had big expensive holidays flying business class and boarding cruise ships. She treated me to a weekend in seville and also disneyland paris. When you have 2 very independent people who don't need anything from each other - that may sound ideal, but in practice it was not. Maybe the opposite works better.
  2. I'm 100% equities ...but with +20 years annual expenditure in cash (increasing monthly). Reasonable spread geographically - maybe 40% USA? 75% trackers and remainder actively managed. No single shares. I've just been funding global trackers lately. For me, trying to be strategic with a very long investment horizon is pretty futile, in my opinion.
  3. I'm an absolute prize catch. I rarely meet any women who i would pitch even remotely close to my level of resources and life achievements. What are these venues?
  4. Rate my pizza! Where in pattaya? As good as anything in italy...
  5. How do you know if someone in a pizza thread has been to italy? They can't stop telling you. Over and over and over...
  6. On that rental budget you would need to head over to 3rd road area. Not gonna get the pool of course. I bet the cheapest in lumpini ville naklua go for that.
  7. Which one? choice of three now
  8. His link does work.
  9. Gotta play the odds - maybe one of them could put up with your moaning and whinging.
  10. If the premium was calculated on the health and lifestyle of 10,000 noobexpats it would be the deal of the century. The problem is that its calculated on 10,000 people far less conscientious, so why should i accept that. Can you imagine the data on 10,000 thailand expats 555
  11. You've already asked it before and i answered. I don't need a decade to spot a greater-fool-theory ponzi scheme.
  12. The annual common fees in this thread seem very cheap. Mine (ie. the owners) is about 35k baht ...for 53sqm Never lived in a condo anywhere, so this stuff is new to me.
  13. The only thing that books can give you is the principle behind investing. Isn’t that the simple bit - put a lot in and leave it a long time. Why do we still work ...because we want 2 yachts, of course
  14. Dead easy. Just ask them to stop paying you.
  15. I say. You're all skint. Its obvious! 55 Why do you keep asking that dumb question??
  16. Agree. I think the closest new condo to central pattaya is Once Pattaya. I went look and it was 35sqm 1 bed for 3.7m. Too small. Even wongamat isn’t too far from central. But it feels like these (really great) condo's on jomtien 2nd road for example, are applying central prices but not having any location premium. Not even 'beachfront'. The bangkok model is being used. Small rooms, great facilities, high price. That axis on thappraya isn't very old. Wonder how well its aging. Never been in there.
  17. From what i've seen recently, new builds are doing 2 bed at 55-63sqm at about 7m baht-ish. This is the biggest size! LPB you mentioned is 10 years old and is that Na Jomtien?? Miles away from anywhere in demand.
  18. I'm sure. I'd probably end up with a truck if i lived in the sticks (please buddha, never let it happen 55)
  19. Use your experience and hang around the local amphur. I bet all the staff know you by now anyway.
  20. I'm not inspired by many cars i see here, at least non-european ones. I hope to never buy a car here.
  21. Ok 70's. Take a pic of everything you eat in a day and post it.
  22. The sensor is on the high pressure fuel pump. The fuel pump in the tank is about flow rate not pressure and you won't get an engine management light for a faulty one. High pressure pump on my audi TT with sensor on the end. Called a pressure regulator sensor.
  23. I don't know what a 'fuel inlet valve' is supposed to be?? Guessing, maybe the low pressure fuel pump that sits in the fuel tank or maybe a sticky throttle body (less likely).
