I clearly stated Trump, go read what I said again. If you think that either Gore , or Clintons has none more of the above you are welcome to post how. Just posting laugh emojis does nothing other that confirm the weakness of your arguments. and intellect . I love to see you on a debating floor. Your opponent makes a case against your proposition and you respond with a witty "Ha ha ha" Wow where do you come back with these devastating comebacks? "Are you talking about Al Gore here... or non-gender specific Hillary? " Wow you must be a blipping genius. -

How am I wrong with that? Do you think there was another President that contributed more in causing people to lose trust in American institutions? If so who? and how. trump has challenged the peaceful transfer of power. Which is at the bedrock of the executive institution. He has brought doubt in the integrity of our elections system Has brought doubt in the the integrity of law enforcement He has brought doubt in the integrity of our immigration system He has brought doubt in the integrity of our Science community He has brought doubt in the integrity of the CDC I sort he has brought doubt in the whole system of checks and balances. . -
You can not change policy retroactively and hope that any sane person will invest in your country. And since this policy starts Jan 1st and we don't know what the policy is Jan 7 any policy enounced Jan 8 would be applied retroactively That is Ex post facto law and is prohibited by the Thai constitution for that matter the constitution of any civilised country. So if the argument is that there laws were already in the books but were not being enforced and now they will be enforced as someone else said , then it should be a simple matter to tell us what these laws are.
-
This is crazy we are living under a new law, or a new interpretation of an old law. but we will not be told what that new law, or new interpretation of an old law until later. What kind of BS is that? It is like getting into a football game and are told by the referees that the rules will be "interpreted different than they always were, but we will not tell you how until later. Would you play under such rules? This is beyond crazy.

Either reading comprehension issues or a strawman propaganda device. "trump has done more to degrade such institutions than anyone and anything " -

‘Disaster is coming,’ Panic in Thailand after fishermen caught ‘earthquake fish’ "Recently, a very rare fish was reeled in by fishermen in Thailand, and now they are worried a deadly earthquake and tsunami might be on their way and bringing devastation. The fish here in question is the oarfish, also known as ‘harbinger of doom’ or ‘the earthquake fish,’ which is generally found in waters at a depth of 1,000 metres and is rarely seen by humans on the surface. The eerie-looking sea creature can grow to as long as 11 metres and was caught by Thai fishermen on Wednesday (Jan 3) in the Andaman Sea. According to Japanese folklore, if you ever spot an oarfish in shallow waters, you better brace for an earthquake or tsunami." Full story at: https://www.wionews.com/trending/disaster-is-coming-panic-in-thailand-after-fishermen-caught-earthquake-fish-677201 A fishy story if you ask me.

55555 Thank you for taking the time to post the above, your effort is appreciated. I certainly have the time and inclination to read the article you posted, what I did not have the time was to mine hundreds of paged of arguments concerning things that do not apply . I would appreciate a link to the actual web page, because the links to more specific information in your post do not work, I suspect you pastes as plain text, which made the links inoperable. something that I often also do. It seems to me that a new industry of expat tax specialist is about to join the ranks of visa agents. It seems that I am fortunate that my SSI and private pension are excluded and since the funds remitted by me do not exceed that income I fall below the “assessable” I wonder how I would have to prove , if required that my income is derived from those sources and not other available to me . Anyway Thank you again.

Biden slams Trump for Capitol riot in 2024 campaign speech
sirineou replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
Unlike other nations who derive their cohesion from a common ethnic identity the US being a nation of immigrants derives it's cohesion from a tacit trust in it's institutions and that for the most part they work fairly for all. It is the binding core in what we consider the USA to be, trump has done more to degrade such institutions than anyone and anything in the history of the United States of America, There are few things that I don't like about Biden and if better options existed I would opt for such, but all the negatives attributed to Biden pale in comparison to those exhibited by trump. He represents an existential danger to the concept on America, where the undesirable elements attributed to Biden do not. I believe it was Sun Tzu in the art of war who said (please correct me if I am wrong). In the absence of no good options the least harmful option is the best. -
Perhaps buried in these thousands of replies there is an answer to my question, but unfortunately I have neither the time or inclination to read hundreds of pages of mostly arguing, I am sur I am not the only one who is wondering. Is there a precise easy to understand source of what is required of me as a retired American here on extensions to stay based on marriage , all income remitted to Thailand from SSI and private pension.

First I reject the contention that Bjden has nothing positive to say concerning the issue why they should elect him. If you really believe that he has not, you are ether not paying attentions, or your definition of " positive" is different than most peoples. But even if we concede that he has not. No need. As unfortunate as it is , everyone with half a brain knows why they should elect Biden over trump , I am sure you do also. -
Some Thais have weird taste when it come to their cars. How about those trucks with dozens of mirrors. I don't get it. They must cost a lot of money. and I am sure they don't make so much money that they don't know how to spend it. And how about the trucks with all the Plastic dolls . I think they are Michelin men dolls, What's up with that?

Why put fake dual exhausts in any car? even an ICE vehicle . It looks ridiculous. But I have to agree not as ridiculous as on an EV. Perhaps the owner has a good sense of humor.

That's always the case regards where. Same back in the US and it makes sense, When you make a payment with a debit card, the system checks to see if you have enough in your account. If you do not have enough it is declined, if you have enough the transaction is approved. If the money was not taken from the account immediately, you can complete the transaction then go outside to an ATM and clean out your account and the vendor with whom you just conducted the transaction would be screwed , at the very least there is a Hold on the amount in question until the funds can be transferred to your vendor. . So now you want a refund . You are not a vendor and have a contract with the credit card company, for them to credit your account in the same way your vendor (hospital) was immediately credited , there is a process and the process takes time .

I have an account with Kasikorn and did exactly what you describe above. It was easy. Just go to the bank and get it done. -
Supreme Court to rule if Trump can run for president
sirineou replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
Though I am inclined to agree with you, If the Republicans want to run a many times looser , I think the Democrats should let them do so. But this is not about what the Democrats and Republicans want but about the constitution and what kind of behaviour is is admissible. Whether it favors the Democrats or not ,is IMO immaterial
