Oh Please. You know as well as they do, without a calculator they are like a ship without a rudder. Go into most shops for an item @82Baht. hand over 102Baht and get told 'you give too much'. I have been given back the extra a few times in Big C and Robinsons, where the till does the calculation. Dumb and Dummer are alive and well.

Has anyone had a dose of AZ followed by a dose of Pfizer?
Surasak replied to happydays's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
Had one AZ two weeks ago. Next AZ October. Have a reserve, paid for Moderna when it becomes available, possibly early next year. I will take it as a belt and braces insurance. Moderna is of a similar make up to Pfizer so I am hoping for good protection, fingers crossed. -

Sewn up with what? There's no wax on the thread, which is well past its sell by date and he's using a Blake sticher instead of an over locker. What could possibly go wrong? -
Krabi eyes 500k Russian tourists, despite dual pricing concerns

How can they possibly think they look stupid, when there are so many people more than willing to cough up the asking price? -
Krabi eyes 500k Russian tourists, despite dual pricing concerns
Surasak replied to webfact's topic in Krabi News
No, there is no shame. As is proven with the straight face when asking an extortionate amount and the indignation when confronted. -
Exactly the point. However, they are more than capable of false promises.

This could be a two edged sword. If asked for my vaccine status at the establishment I am visiting, how do I know it is safe to enter? Will there be a clear sign at the entrance to confirm all staff are vaccinated?

As a guess, like this gov does, I'd say late 2022 or maybe early 2023, maybe! -
bank passbook full
Surasak replied to novo58's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Your remark: They could do it if they wanted to, is very true. As to just looking through you as if you are not there, applies in many cases and not just banks. They keep they're mouth shut so as not to look stupid, knowing full well if they open it, they will prove the point. On the other hand, is it just dumb ignorance? -
Thailand could be first in ASEAN to produce vaccines

All pigs fed and ready to fly. -
I find that rather strange. Surely the hospital had a doctor who was treating him. It would be that doctors responsibility to sign the death certificate?

I have to ask, why would you worry about the problem? It wont affect you. As said below, Don't take life so seriously, no one gets out alive anyway. However, I do have all bases covered, its only fair.

Marriage extension under the table.
Surasak replied to IvorBiggun2's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
A friend recently approached an agent to extend his marriage visa. 50k or retirement 19k was the answer he got. A no brainer as to the course he took. -
Had this same arrive on Monday 16th. [email protected] Tue 17/08/2021 13:55 This is an auto-generated email. Please do not reply. After reviewing your registration, it can not be further processed due to lack of required visas. Please note that this registration platform is ONLY for foreign residents in Thailand and are not Thai nationality. If you are a migrant worker or work under MoU with the Ministry of Labour, please wait for further information from the Ministry of Labour. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand This is an automated message, please do not reply. On Tuesday 17th email from Bangkok KK hospital informing me of an appointment for Sat 21st August at KK hall Central Plaza. My opinion FWIIW, some are jumping the gun. This email of rejection is either a mistake or, it is to put people off from further registration in the hope of saving a few vaccination samples. Just a thought, but I wouldn't put anything past this government.

Thailand seeks 12 million Sinovac shots for mix-and-match vax strategy
Surasak replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
If this wasn't so tragic for the people of Thailand, it would be pure comedy. Sinovac is known to be all but useless, yet these idiots in government chase after it like it was pure gold. The only people with pockets in shrouds.
