  1. Oh no, now your persecution and victimhood extends to the telly - the TV is against you! You are a cartoon and your posts become more farcical by the day.
  2. Yeah, and they are gradually retrofitting their 777s, but not worth the risk of getting a non retrofitted one...
  3. I used to work for a big well known Thai company here. The CEO flew everywhere on Thai because he thinks Thai is the best. I had to do a trip to the UK with him and I said I'll meet him there as I am not flying Thai. Eventually I persuaded him to try Emirates. I met him in the lounge at BKK and he just said "wow". I gladly don't work there anymore as it was a terrible company and he was a moron, but he was blown away by the difference. I still see him on Facebook back on Thai though (he's one of those people who posts pictures of themselves in business class - I hate those people). I've said it many times, but I really like Thai as a regional carrier, it is as good as anyone and I include Singapore in that. Long haul it is shocking though. The poster who said business long haul is 2-2-2 must have been on a really old plane. I have been in business on A350 and B787 and they are all 1-2-1 - and the three point seatbelts are cool! Think the 777s are 2-2-2. No way was he on a 787 with 2-2-2. (Edit: ah, the 787-8 is 2-2-2, the 787-9 is 1-2-1). (Shockingly Emirates still runs an appalling 2-2-2 business on most of their 777s. If it's not an A380 I'm not going)
  4. Are you a rawdogger?
  5. Ah right, because someone phoned in a 20 minute warning it is perfectly fine to flatten a hospital - the last fully functioning one in Gaza. Got it.
  6. What's wrong with that? IMO the A350 is a better plane too. More airy, quieter, and just a nicer place to be. Plus it is a lot less likely to fall out of the sky. Interior seat comfort varies by airline, as does service and IFE, but the plane is the plane. And the A350 is a nicer place to be than a 787 for me. Not sure why you struggle with that concept. A380, A350, B787, B777 in that order for me.
  7. Those damn paramedics and doctors are at it again! https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cjr7l123zy5o No doubt you'll say this was another legitimate target because.....
  8. Yeah, like ICEVs hold 90% of their value when they're driven off the forecourt. As I said before, ignorant nonsense, and you've only proven that more strongly since. Your ICE is going to last 130 years though, and it hasn't polluted in that time. What is your miraculous 65 year ICE? And how have its emissions been over the years? How much pollution did it cause to build? Care to tell? Ridiculous.
  9. Can't believe I didn't check who was the OP before I clicked on it. Anti Thai trolling rubbish.
  10. I think that's a you problem. Website works just fine, exactly as it always does.
  11. Well I did ask them. They both said it was "very average" and that the IFE was appalling with a lack of selection, they couldn't believe how bad that was. But service was ok.
  12. There are foreign rescue teams helping. Always the same nonsense posts on here....
  13. I'm willing to bet you knew absolutely nothing about Ukraine prior to Trump blaming them for being invaded. But once he said that Ukraine is bad. No question.
  14. Oh dear. But you said "The Thai couples, anecdotedly, had big morgatges, you know, the 30 year, sell your soul to the devil / bank type yet, talking to many of them over the years we lived there, it was all for show, to save face for family, to appear better off than even their brothers or sisters and definitely the people that they worked with." So yes, you had some deep meaningful conversations to know that they bought houses to save face, to appear better off than their brothers and sisters etc. So you did have those conversations, right? About the reason for buying their house? And they told you they sold their soul to appear better than then brothers and sisters. Ludicrous. And, as someone else has already replied, a 30 year mortgage is unusual?
  15. Wow, you really had many deep, meaningful, and financially sensitive conversations with your Thais neighbours.
  16. So you think an airline can work out hundreds of million of dollars of finances, have board and shareholder meetings, and negotiate with Boeing to buy 45 aircraft one day after Trump man announces tariffs? Wow, they move fast!
  17. Asking on AN about Thai Airways is just asking for nonsense from people who don't fly or who had a delayed flight 17 years ago and "vowed never to fly Thai again" like other airlines don't have delays. Can't help you personally as never done TG to the UK and it is 20 years since I did EVA - I always go Emirates or other Middle Eastern carriers. However one of my clients flew out here on Thai on Monday. I know she had a horrid flight as there was a crying baby right next to her but I'll ask her tomorrow what her objective opinion was of the flight experience, baby aside.
  18. The new orders are 1-2-1, some with doors, and also premium economy. The new A321 narrow bodies will also have lie flat in business. This is basically why Thai needs to modernise its fleet.
  19. Ambulances. Nobody armed. Ambulances. With lights on. With no weapons. Ambulances, attending a call out. If you think that's in any way justifiable then you are either cruel or an idiot, or both. Nasty things happen in war, that's why we have independent councils to look at them. Not for the IDF though, they just lie and idiots believe them.
  20. Right, so they should immediately start shooting at the ambulances and continue for several minutes. And then check. And then lie about it.
  21. Ok, so you have no response. Blinkered, blinded, swallowed all the anti-China propaganda and can't see anything with your own eyes or even talk about it. I should have known better than to engage with one of the forum's most notorious trolls, more fool me.
