  1. Yeah, @Lakegeneve was the insider and always had really good info but he hasn't posted in over a year sadly. From my understanding there's no spare rolling stock to add more trains on the BTS. Also the current headway of the Sukhumvit line of (if memory serves me correctly) 2 mins 40 seconds (?) is as tight as it can be unless they completely redo/replace the signalling system. The headway on the Silom is something like four minutes but that is limited by the single track platform at Saphin Taksin station. They were always supposed to eventually demolish that station to alleviate that bottleneck but I guess it is just too popular a station for someone to make that call. So the trains can't run closer together than they already do. I guess the next step would be to add another car to make them 5 cars instead of four, but never seen any indication that that's being planned, so it would be years away if it ever happens.
  2. No, he's jailed for contempt of court and received numerous warnings first. "Political prisoner", seriously. Jeez.
  3. Congratulations!! How's the interior? Similar feel to the Seal?
  4. I just completed this quiz. My Score 20/100 My Time 37 seconds
  5. This is completely untrue. If ithat were the case then the air pollution would be this bad all year round, yet it isn't.
  6. I just completed this quiz. My Score 50/100 My Time 153 seconds
  7. This is spot on. Just like last time around (Mexico will pay for a wall etc).
  8. You do of course have links to their quotes, right? Or do you just swallow this and spread it without checking? (Don't worry, I know the answer)
  9. You swallow anything, "establishment lies".........hilarious. And Yaxley-Lennon is in prison for the crime of contempt of court, not "journalism". But believe what he tells you and don't forget to donate! Having Yaxley-Lennon and "journalism" in the same sentence should be a crime.
  10. They don't take your food because your food standards are much lower than Europe's and your food is chemical laden and nasty. They don't take your cars because they are inferior rubbish. Try improving them and things might be different. What a moron, people are laughing at America.
  11. So a family in the UK saves up for their dream holiday to Thailand, then they hear they need to fill out an online arrival card (same as in many other countries). They'll cancel their holiday immediately!! Can't have two minutes wasted on filling out a form, oh no!!! Tourism will come crashing down, the economy will tank, we're all doomed.
  12. Ok, fair reasonings. Look forward to future posts.
  13. I really enjoy your posts so please keep them up. But would be great to know where they are as it is interesting to look them up and get the stories.
  14. Oh my, we have a new candidate! Normally when you post claims you are supposed to back them up. Where on earth do you get you 0.59% renewable number from?? It's closer to 16% in 2024. https://lowcarbonpower.org/region/Thailand Hilarious. How much copper is in an LFP battery? Any figures for that? Must be a lot right if all the copper in the world isn't enough.
  15. You can't even be bothered to read even a tiny bit of the article?? Did you just see the headline then came to ask someone to read it for you? Literally the very first sentence says this comes in on 1st May.
  16. The very first time I was buying a new car here (25 years ago or so) I went to Honda to try the Accord. There wasn't a lot of choice in the market back then. They wouldn't let me test drive so I walked out. Went to Nissan to look at a Cefiro, they let me drive a customer's car around the car park only. I ended up in another Honda dealer that did let me test drive the Accord properly, and I bought it. Can't imagine buying a car with having a decent test drive. Think it would be very unusual to not be allowed to test drive these days. (Oh, I did buy one car without a test drive as I knew I wanted it so badly: Subaru Impreza WRX). I don't really like having the salesperson along for the ride but it is expected. Test driven BMW, a few Volvos, Hondas, even a Proton Exora which I had the whole family in - all put a salesperson in the vehicle. (And yes, I am one of the few people to be able to say they have bought a Proton Exora. Great value, never has trouble). Best test drive experiences: I walked in to Mercedes Thonglor and asked if I could test drive a CLA250 when they first came out. They said yes, took my license, gave me the keys and said off you go - no salesperson, just me on my own. Quite a fun little peppy turbo engine that got given some good exercise. I didn't buy the car though as there was an eight month waiting list. Went to ask for a test drive of a Lexus IS250 many years ago. They gave me the keys and said "bring it back tomorrow". So I took it up to Pattaya and back, drove it a lot, picked up mates, it got a very thorough testing. And I did buy it.
  17. Well he wasn't was he - he was sentenced to a minimum of 52 years. Did you miss that? So why comment on something imaginary that didn't happen? You people see conspiracies everywhere, it is hilarious.
  18. Eloquent Pilgrim.......the Betamax of AN.
  19. I agree with him. It is not a slur, it's the truth. Trying to score political capital. Has Farage been to visit the families? Has he done anything to help them? Nope. Just using their tragedy to whip up his followers/disciples/devotees.
  20. "Multiple sources". Right. You post a link to a random right wing account on Twitter making the claim with no evidence. And that site has been caught for posting completely false information several times in the past. Where are these multiple sources of which you speak?
  21. What er you talking about? What has email got to do with this? And do you send emails offline? No idea what you are on about at all.
  22. Amazing how AN posters so quickly spin in to a tizz and overreact to everything and everything. How will this be any different to Singapore, Ireland, Greece, Australia or any one of dozens of countries that require an online declaration before travel? Do they strap ankle tags on you? Probably fill it out 48/72 hours before travel on a computer (no phone required, luddites). Print out confirmation if it makes you less "detectable". Simple. Why all the crying in this thread about phones, data roaming, tracking, tourists leaving in droves etc. People need to get over themselves. There's also every logical chance that once this is implemented you'll be able to use e-gates on arrival.
