Paid 140 for 10 at MediSafe Bangkok. Shipped to my place. Local pharmacy is 180. It's somewhat relevant as a long term treatment seems needed.

Requirements to extend Non-OA visa
KhunBENQ replied to Lim Yuan Hai's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Your latest day to apply without penalty for overstay is 20 December. Not a good idea to wait for the last minute. You can go as early as 30 or even 45 days before. Insurance can also be prearranged for the desired starting date of 20 December -
In a safe. I don't want to use a bank safe box here. Yes the safe doesn't weigh a ton, it won't withstand heavy machinery tools but in a neigborhood like ours no professional robbers will break in unnoticed. Only few members of the family know about it. Has not been transported by outsiders. In a room with sturdy window grilles and a robust door with cylinder lock and proper fittings. So no opportunity for petty criminals. Number wheel combination known to me and the daughter.

Got this nasty thing two years ago. Was obviously not protected. Weak/sick for two weeks. Later developed psoriasis which never vanishes completely. Whether it is connected? I don't know.

At least quite pointless. Yesterday walked along the current party hotspot in Pattaya (treetown) and even though I am not Covid hysteric the cramped masses irgnoring all the loudly announced rules (mask, distance etc.) left me somewhat puzzled.

7,000 international arrivals due at Suvarnabhumi on Monday

Still enough to let people wait for the bag for more than 30 minutes after desimbark on a domestic flight yesterday -
Astronomically. Meteoroligist have differing definitons. Winter starts on December 1. But the thread is quite clear and in line with weather predictions from other sources (ECMWF). Nov 3 the rain should have stopped for most of the country. https://meteologix.com/th/forecast/1614295-pattaya/xltrend/euro/precipitation Currently waiting for the rain to stop in Pattaya

Just talked to a resident friend. She is usually quite well informed and says it IS a general rule (?).

I doublechecked their communication and there is nothing.

Maybe I have lost sight in the color maps so excuse a dumb question. Yesterday checked in at a hotel in Pattaya (no ASQ/ASH). I had to show my vaccionation status which surprised me somewhat. Hotel tells me only vaccinated guests. No word beforehand at booking confirmation. Is this a general rule in the dark red zone for domestic travellers? At the flight checkin Khon Kaen TO Bangkok no checks at all (as shown in a diagram from the airline).

can you tell the age of car by the number plate ?
KhunBENQ replied to yeahbutif's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
There are always exceptions which would result in an "old" sign on a new car. For Bangkok you can roughly guess the higher the leading digit (unique in Thailand) the later the sign has been issued. I think they have reached "9" now? Will be interesting what their next botch workaround will be instead of a basic reform. I doubt there are many countries with such a confusion of plate types and exhausted number ranges etc. -
Not too many I bet. Have to go to some African or Caribbean countries.

And the member wants to swim and not mix it with his whisky Sure the quality at Pattaya beach was not that inviting in the past. Jomtien gradually better. I did a dip there in March and even years before. At this time the quality seems to have improved significantly. I will check next week. Ko La(r)n always been OK.
