Advise on changing provider from condo to individual line

Featured Replies

Hi guys. I'm currently connected to the condos internet system. It's 3bb supplied, to 48 units. I was told only 3bb is available in this area. Pattaya Pra mantuk soi 1 on the hill towards big Buddah. Behind Unixx tower.

There's basically an incoming box in the basement. With lines to each floor. Each floor has 3 or 4 routers. All floors have the same password.  The only speed test I've done was 40/20, but very intermittent connection issues and unless I'm standing near the door I'm lucky to get more than 2 bars. My concern is will it improve having my own line from the main box or will 3bb connect me to a separate incoming line?

I'm not sure what I pay for internet, my bill is 900 baht for 3 months which is for saphon cable and 3bb internet.

Thanks

John
