Hi everyone,

I've paid off my cb300f bike without problem, but transferring it to my name is taking more than a month cause theres always a document they forget to mention. At first they needed every page of my work permit. Then they needed proof from immigration of my address. Now when they have it all now i have to pay 1800 baht for them to cancel the green book (that i never saw, i just had a copy of the first page) and send me the documents so i can get the new one in my name, cause supposedly farangs need to change the book into their name, while thais can continue using the old one. My question is : Is all of that normal? Did anyone encounter the same problem?

Thanks!

All "normal" if you can consider the registration process "normal" ( IMHO the process here is abnormal)
Thais should have to change the name in the book too...but they dont need all the extra bits of paper to get it done.
1800 baht for new plate + update green book and do all the running around for you sounds reasonable...ish
