Technical school student shot dead in Bangkok

By The Nation

BANGKOK: -- A technical school student was killed in a drive-by shooting on a road in Bangkok’s Bang Kapi district on Tuesday night, police said.

Siwakorn Sa-ingram, 19, from Buri Ram, a student of Automobile Technology College in Bang Na, was shot dead on the Seri Thai Road near the Nida intersection at 7.30pm, Pol Captain Nulak Boonyarait, the deputy inspector of Lat Phrao Police Station, said.

Jirasak Poonjedi, 19, the friend of the deceased, who was riding pillion, told police that two men whose faces were covered by their crash helmets chased Siwakorn’s motorcycle and told him to stop.

Siwakorn tried to speed away but the chasing motorcycle caught up with them and the pillion rider shot Siwakorn in the head.

How can the technical students ever concentrate with so much violence between those technical schools??

I think the best solution is to move 1 of those schools to Chiang mai or Phuket.

This sounds more like an organised hit rather than a college thing.

Shooter and pillion both wearing helmets.

Targeted the rider only and not the pillion.

One shot to the head.

I think someone had been a naughty boy.......

Naughty enough to get shot dead. This the result of a gun crazy society. Plus limited brain power.

I used to live in Bangkapi, on ladphrao soi 101, during the few months I stayed in that area there were several shootings around Happy Condo, as I recall they all involved students. I couldn't understand why
