My Thai Massage Entitlement

Now at Bkk gate 75
..waiting for 16:20 flight to Udon Thani.

 Signboard says a 10 minute delay.

 

My first visit to UTH; read on if you wish to keep me company:

 

(1) The Immigration chap told me about this rule. I can only have 180 Thai massage sessions in a calendar year.

 

(2) Feel slightly sorry for him. Think he is the same chap during my last visit. He was manning the general queue when i was trying to get out for the transfer to Nakon Phanom.*

 

(3) Anyway; he was much more friendly this time. Possibly less harassed with air force people grabbing his job or a PRC pissing in front.

 

(4) Maybe he was getting even**,  thought i saw a tricky smile when he was telling about the warning..

Seems like i used up 180 entitlement.

 

(5) Anyway, he was helpful. Told me i can get another foot massage...× 60.

I need to leave Thailand..find a embassy..and get a TR. Therapy ?Related excuse chit.

Places like UTH/Phuket will get more tourist money with a dedicated booth? Just wondering if Bkk elite with Phuket condos are trying to keep the money rather than spread to less well-known provinces?

 

**i gather they function on a binary Yes-No system. Anything in-between gives anxiety. Great that he decided Yes ... else really wonder about the various scenarios.
