China tells airlines to suspend Boeing jet deliveries
It’s all a pipe dream. The US has wanted to stop trading with China for decades, but it can’t because there’s no alternative source for that $500+ billion worth of annual goods, and they can’t produce it themselves. All the “what if this” and “what if that” talk is just a big waste of time. Meanwhile, China can easily live without the US. The only reason they ever bought anything from the US was to keep the trade deficit from ballooning even more. But now they just don’t care. China will get what it needs elsewhere, most likely at even lower cost, and the US will struggle. Sure, there are other potential sources for the same products and raw materials the US needs, but at what cost to the US? If a better or even equal option to China existed, the US would’ve taken it a long time ago. -

Britain is turning RACIST against white people !
Stephen Adrian Lawrence wasn't stabbed by 'black or coloured' people. Racists by their very nature, use race as the basis for their hatred. I guess some here miss the good old days of being able to get stabby with coloured people and getting away with it scot-free. Institutional racism from that case and many other 'fit-ups' and 'stitch-ups' is one of the reasons for opportunities being offered to those who would be excluded. -

MAGAs don’t think for themselves they just follow Trump. They seem to have picked up an anti Ukraine pro Russia view especially since the Ukraine leaders White House visit. If Trump was pro Ukraine they would be also. If Trump was anti tariff/tax they would be also. Absolute sheeple population. Vance is gutless slime. He knows what Trump is like but is too spineless to go against him, like most other republicans and business people. Melania is no better either. Only in America with its stupid people would someone like Trump be re-elected. -

Apart from the dubious method of threatening countries to cooperate, china has a huge and advanced industrial base. How many years do you think it would take to replace? How much sacrifice do you think the American electorate is willing to put up with. Trump didn't campaign calling on Americans to make sacrifices. And by the way, right now Greenland produces zero rare earths. And not much else either in the way of minerals. It's got a punishing climate.
