Where to buy BMW R1150GS Shock Absorbers

Hi

 

We are travelling to Chiang Mai in November and was wondering if there are any dealers around that sell parts for BMW R1150GS (shock absorbers). And if so are there any links/websites to the traders to order/enquire.

Barcelona Motor is the BMW dealer here. They sell Automobiles and Motorcycles. BMW bikes are rare here and parts for them will be expensive since it's all imported. You might want to inquire on the GT Rider forum.

Chiang Mai Motorsport does suspension work, and can probably help you out- they're an authorized Ohlins dealer (they may carry other brands as well).

I own a BMW and the last place in the world I would take it to is Barcelona.  They are probably the main reason why there are few BMW bikes here.  For an explanation trawl through GTR forums from some years ago.
