Looking for someone who can work with some bricks and some cement for a small project I have going

adjusting and closing of a gap in a wall of a framed door which we made smaller.

Would be good if he worked for foreign before and doesn't have the double charge standard going...

One time last year some tree cutters brought down part  of our perimeter wall with a misplaced falling tree,  My wife asked around at the nearest construction workers camp and found a couple of guys who came along with all their friends on their day off, they rebuilt it, screeded it  then came back in a couple of days and painted it all for virtually the day rate. They were all very happy for the extra money and we were happy with the seamless job they did matching it in

He said "good and reliable" !

None at 300 B/day...

You would even have problems to find a stooge/helper for that.

At least for a Thai person and particularly in Pattaya.

Last year it was difficult to find helpers for sugar cane harvest out in the sticks for 300. Burmese will jump in.

We lost many of our Burmese workers during the last "crackdown".  Had to hire new.  A bit more money, but not too bad.

It's really hard here to find reliable workers.  Most we've worked with over the years are no longer in the construction business, or have moved elsewhere.  Not much going on in Pattaya any more other than condos.  And most of those crews work very hard.
