Heavy storm yesterday plus damage

Featured Replies

This happened to the purple line skytrain station.

Don't drive under it during a storm!!

Doesn't say much for construction standards.

This was a very standard rainstorm for Bangkok. If this is what happens in the first year... what happens after ten?

:shock1:

The winds came from the other side yesterday.

But i think they better let some farang check those new bts stations...How can those panels come loose so easy? And how can they keep the electricity on when we see the mist around those burning tubelights...are they waterproof and connected to ground as well?

I wonder how many panels fell down onto the road underneath. This should never ever happen again but i bet the other stations are built exactly the same way.
