What Thai towns have a long promenade? (for jogging)

As already been said there are a lot of large provinces in Issan which have large lakes with cycling/running tracks around. Udon/ Khon Kaen. Mukdahan and Nakhon Phanom also have long trails along the Mekong.

Roi et and Kalasin have smaller lakes where there are lots of joggers out on the evening.

Do you like obstacle courses? If so, Beach Road, Pattaya would be the way to go. Kilometre after kilometre of assorted vendor equipment, ladies of the night (and day) in a bewildering variety, Indians of every description nursing one ice cream between six, the grandchildren of Mao in their teeming millions, staggering Russians - it's the perfect place to hone those swerving skills.

Kamphaeng Phet and Phitsanulok both have running paths by the river that offer kilos of flat running surface.....

KP would be my first choice city wise.....

Looking at a street view, KP really does have long paths by the river.  It also appears that there are a lot of paths in the Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park, which looks like an interesting place.

Chiang Kaen in Loei has a nice promenade. Perhaps 1.5kms in length. The entire region is lovely and a jog to run in. Both Chiang Khan and Loei have annual super half (25km) runs, with shorter distances also being available.

Lots of little-traveled roads up that way.  There's some nice mountain views out by Phu Reua. You could jog the river road from Chiang Kaen almost all the way to Nong Khai.

Perhaps in the middle of the day and after dark.  But I've jogged there last March every morning around 6.30am (before it's hot).  No obstacles at all, everyone still asleep :)
