Firefox says your site in insecure

Featured Replies

Since changing things in October I am getting warning messages from Firefox. I will not continue using site much whilst this continues.

I don't get a message using Chrome or Edge. Could be Firefox giving you a false warning.

Chrome does show a "not fully secure" message when clicking on the site information icon.

I don't have a clue what this potentially unsecure image(s) is about.

No warnings on my FF...

It's not a popup or the like.

Click on the symbol left of the address  field and you will see it.

Otherwise your FF has a problem

Sorry, completely unrelated to any external threats or the like.

It is a problem with "mixed content" on the website.

That's just a standard message. I get them all the time. No big worry.

I must admit it's long that I looked after that.

You might be right that it is there since long.

And it's by far not the first site that I have noticed that.

FireFox says that some parts of the website (images) are not encrypted before being sent, so we are not 100% https:

No issue whatever (we are not a bank) unless you don't want snoopers to see your avatar.

Agree with that.

https has become somewhat of a hype.

Example: a site simply showing currency exchange rates has turned to encryption (with some warnings/issues for quite a while).
