Dvd / TV monitor

Well still getting use to the new car after having a basic beast before.

But about a week ago thought I would give the TV monitor a shot, no go, just a message not to show whilst driving

Fair enough for the Driver as he /she would be preoccupied , but what about the passenger & the people in the back (i was trying it out for young lad in the back seat).

So on my return to Toyota for the first check up I popped the question to the Rep that sold it to me (he speaks very good English )

? Why not working (no doubt safety feature ), but what about the back

A. You have to pull over to watch

Reply : So I just spent another 100,000 + for the top range in that model only to find the monitors would be no good on a long trip

Rep: We can unlock them

A. Well please do as I can't see the point of not being able to use them

So the point is why advertise that you have entertainment front & rear if you buy the top range only to find you have to park on the side of the road for an hour & a half to watch a movie
