Photo of tree growing next to pedestrain bridge gets Thai social media buzzing

Thai social networks were abuzz with comment after a picture emerged of a tree growing slap bang next to the stairs of a pedestrian bridge in downtown Bangkok.

The burning question up for debate was simple:

Who came first? The tree or the bridge!

The picture was posted on the Facebook fan page "@kitichai Taechangamlert" with the tongue-in-cheek tagline:

"Whoever designed this must be in line for person of the year!"

The bridge is not in some backwater of the capital.

It is in the middle of town on Ploenjit Road in Pathumwan near the Central Chitlom shopping center, reported Daily News.

Clearly desogned by a genius to consider positioning the tree to protect pedestrians from Thai divers and footpath motorbikes. Just a lack of attention to detail as the yellow dividing line doesnt extent up the tree.

Solution: Cut it down!
Problem solved.
Next important news, please.

And the tree-hugging masses wept.  :stoner:

Sometimes I think it must be mandatory to prove your IQ is no higher than room temperature when entering the work force.

Oh yes, I know. The ones that have to hug trees, because they have problem showing affection to a real human beeing. :sorry:
