I think we're all missing some REAL news, since Prayuth and the boys went west and I can't believe that I've only just discovered the word association forum that's been going for over 4yrs . . . terrific.

 

I was wondering if, until the junta fun & games start up again, there might be some interest in coming up with the best alternative meaning for NCPO; Nerds Constantly Prattling On, for example.

 

If it started up, I'd suggest that prepositions, i.e. linking words, such as for, of, to, in, and, the, etc. can be interposed between the main 4 letters, just as in National Council 'for' Peace 'and' Order. There are over 70 prepositions in common use, some of them looking like 'proper' words, themselves, e.g. before, despite, regarding, notwithstanding. I would suggest, therefore, that prepositions containing 5 or more letters must feature as one of the 4 main words, e.g. 'Notwithstanding' Chickens, Pork Overwhelms . . . . ridiculous, I know, but you get the message, I'm sure; whilst those of less than 5 letters may, by choice, be used either as a main word or a linking word, e.g. No Cycling 'Past' Ostriches.

 

If it's green for go, then my first throw, as you already know, is . . . . . . Nerds Constantly Prattling On . . . yes, I quite like that.
