Assawin Kwanmuang, said he has instructed all district offices to remove all the mourning signs from their premises, following the end of the one-year mourning period since the passing of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Pol. Gen. Assawin said all mourning signs and banners must be removed before 5 a.m. of October 30th, 2017. He said the district offices in Bangkok will instruct private enterprises in their respective ares to take down the mourning signs and banners. He added that the nine major replicas of the royal crematorium will not be demolished but might be turned into venues for exhibiting the late King's royal initiatives and royal missions and .
