Hi, I was wondering where I could find/purchase empty oil drums on Phuket?, the ones that are used as bbqs when cut in half, and also used in Thai style bars.

Extremely dangerous to cut used oil drums in half with oxy acetylene blow torch, i did know a person who did this a long time ago and the drum blew up taking of half his face and one arm  

I won't be cutting anything, I just need to know where I can locate and buy used drums to use for something else

Depends on what was in them before.

Make sure it is totally empty and the bungs are out so as not to build up pressure.

 

There is a scrapyard on southbound Thepkrasatri Road opposite the Isuzu showroom. They had a couple in there but not sure of the quality.
