Huge crowd queues up outside Siam Square One for makeup sale

While Singaporeans are queuing up for iPhone X today, Thai people are standing in line for a lot less — makeup! It’s reported that some camped outside Siam Square One since 11pm last night for the cosmetics sale today.

 

The sale by Eveandboy, a Thai cosmetics store, has reportedly had thousands of people queue up all day. As of this afternoon, a huge crowd was still waiting outside the mall to be allowed to shop for cosmetics discounted up to 90 percent.

 

Facebook user Sappamit Jantarchot said that his girlfriend arrived at the mall last night and was  the sixth person in line for the sale, but it turned out that she went home empty-handed because the products advertised in the ad were already sold out.

But where does the fault lie. Does laying on a beach and getting skin cancer beat keeping out of the sun and not getting skin cancer ?

I am so sick of seeing white faced Thais I might never come back to Thailand. We have millions of pasty white women in America spending money In a tanning booth trying to become brown, only to end up looking like a dried out potato skin. Then there was Michael Jackson, but I won't comment further.

The fault as you put it lies with the person who does it, if they want to look like that, its up to them as they know the risks if overdone. but from a post on here this week Skin Whitener also kills and not too many know that but millions use it and look like the bloody Adams Family. Keep it natural, local ladies look so much better without the cream.

Agree 100% Sadly there are very few people who can live with themselves if they get a chance to change.
