I'm a believer in free speech, free markets, free choice, small nonintrusive government, and above all freedom to choose one's own destiny.

Those core beliefs scare the crap out of the far right (nazi/facist), the far left(socialists & communists) and intellectual elites who believe they and government know best how to run peoples' lives.

It's small wonder that people like me cause discomfort with people like you. Freedom, choice, right to decide, difficults concepts to grasp for you, I guess.

From your posts you are for freedom of choice etc as long that applies to the U.S. being able to dictate terms to the rest of the world. Your claiming to be liberal then, but you have crypto-facist tendencies (difficult concept for you to grasp I guess ) in so much as you feel that only your view is valid, that U.S. hegemony is logical and that anyone that disagrees is inferior to you and should be labelled and ridiculed, (we can both do that of course, but hey your setting yourself up here not the other way around), you don't have any real concept of history or culture only one fabricated by the media for your coonvenience. It's not discomfort I feel, it's pity and a large dollop of amusement at your clumsy attempts to be intelligent or even interesting.
