Channel 3 news reported that a motorcycle snatch thief was operating in the northern area of Bangkok.

In a latest incident on Monday around 8pm a woman called Jaruwan was walking along a sidewalk in Lat Prao Soi 20.

A man in a helmet on a motorcycle rides up behind her and grabs her shoulder bag causing her to be dragged to the pavement.

He escaped with her bag and she suffered an arm injury and was badly shaken.

But this was not the first time. The TV news said that a man of the same appearance and riding an identical bike robbed another woman in similar fashion in Pahonyothin on Friday.

The footage from Lat Prao was posted on Facebook under the name of "Ekkarin Krasinsukkarn" who said:

"They are not scared - they steal any way they can. When out walking, be careful".

she could have got seriously injured. hopefully he'll be caught soon. she was actually holding her bag pretty safely and he still went for her.
